@Dogorilla Ok this is something I’ve spent so long trying to figure out but I JUST CAN’T. What’s the difference between Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Eggman? Are they the some person just in different games or are they completely different? Are they both in Mario & Sonic Olympics, or just one? Which one is in the Sonic movie?

@BabyYoda71 They're the same person. It's a bit complicated so hopefully I'm remembering this right: His original Japanese name is Eggman, but he was renamed Ivo Robotnik in the English translation, with Sonic sometimes calling him Eggman as an insult. Eventually the English versions of games started referring to him as Dr Eggman instead, but I think Robotnik is still supposed to be his 'real' name in English and Eggman is a nickname.
