@Sunsy Apologies for the late response. Been kinda busy. That sounds like a good day you've had, with the Switch games you've mentioned. Me and my mom did quite a bit of housework too, we've had some Thanksgiving decorations up after putting away the Halloween ones. We got some white and green plaid curtains with pom-poms for when Christmas comes, too. I'm getting a couple ornaments in the mail too, and I'd like to take pictures of them when they arrive.

Recently I've been playing quite a few Nintendo 64 games on my Switch, and even played Mario Party 1 with another friend of mine. That game is surprisingly difficult compared to its many successors, I find... I've always been more used to the GameCube games (the controls are a lot tighter in MP4-7), and in MP1, you may lose coins for losing minigames. But, I still had fun, and that's all that matters. I wanna do minigame island at some point.

Nice, I did see that Monster Bash video by LGR, and I don't recall hearing about that game until you've told me about it. I might give it a shot at some point, while I didn't grow up with DOS games, I'd like to play more of them at some point.

Oh, I forgot they had Jump Up, Super Star on sale, but I do have the soundtrack CD set for Super Mario Odyssey. Though it's entirely in Japanese. I agree with you, I'd love for more Nintendo soundtracks to be on sale on digital storefronts.

Gotcha, that's totally understandable. I've had it since I was younger too, so I do tend to be pretty sensitive as well. That's how I have a tendency to be kind to others. I'm with you as well, as long as it's not used to judge or insult others, it's all good. Thanks, and ouch, sorry to hear you got insulted like that as well. You seem to be a genuinely nice person, by the way, especially going by those posts we've been exchanging with each other. Words can't express how grateful I am for this Nintendo Life community.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a good one.

@Kermit1
Time to abuse this, although I am to lazy to really follow through on that. But this photo deserves to be immortalized in this thread.

My site notifications are out of whack, so it's been a bit laborious to reply to everyone. Granted, it doesn't help that I've been gone a few days.

@blindsquarel Heh, to be fair, I'm not sure I could handle the winters very well. I dislike being cold, and it's gotten worse ever since I lost weight. Needless to say I'm not the biggest fan of temps under 40° F. I briefly tossed around moving to Minnesota at one point until I remembered how... interesting...winter can be that far north.

(FWIW, I'm in the southern half of IL and it gets cold enough here, thanks)

@MarioLover92 I usually just play handheld when it's a game more suited to the format, like some indie titles. Or very rarely when I do take it somewhere and have awhile to play. My Switch normally stays in my living room where the only TV I own lives lol. I still need to pick up Mole Mania, hopefully before long! I don't blame you needing a break from Wario Land 3; while it's a good game, its nonlinear nature can be a bit confusing and repetitive sometimes.

@Sunsy The irony is we had cats, which probably kept down the numbers. But I think we spoiled them a bit too much with food sometimes lol. Some were/are good mousers - my parents still own a few - but mice can be sneaky. Usually we'd get them in the winter when it was cold out. I haven't had any issues with them on the main floor of my house, but they can get up into my attic. I've also had issues with them in my garage before, but I found how they were getting in and stuffed the hole with some old steel wool I'd used for helping clean dishes.

Also: There is no shame in being on the autism spectrum. It's a spectrum for a reason; it affects everyone differently and isn't an illness, but just a way to help explain how one's brain is wired (Everyone is different, spectrum or not). A diagnosis is a good way to open a path to give those on the spectrum the tools needed to survive and thrive in this crazy world. Those who use it as an insult are either 1. Immature/edgy kids, 2. Those misinformed about the condition, or 3. Jerks who spend their lives putting down others to make themselves feel better. Bullies, essentially.

To my knowledge, I'm not on the spectrum. But two young cousins of mine are, as is my brother-in-law, and I'm acquainted with and took some college classes with a guy who has Asperger's.

@Kermit1 Is this crew? I love it when moments in games happen like this, many reasons why I love gaming, best thing that has ever happened to be honestly.

@Snatcher It's NFS: Heat, I've been eyeing it for Christmas and so far I'm sold. I love goofs in racing games.

@Kermit1 I never really tried a racing game before, played a few, I really love them, but never committed to one, this sounds pretty neat!

@Snatcher I've only really liked Forza Horizon 4...

I kinda fell in love with 4, the world, the cars, the DLC, well pretty much everything. I have played 5 but it didn't click with me like 4 did. The very moment I played 4 I knew I was gonna like it then I started playing more and discovered my love of mini cars.

Like the Peel p50, thanks to the stupid of amount of customisation this baby can go 200 miles per hour and whenever I turn it shoots off like a bullet.

@Kermit1 Wait you made that? What console is this game on?

I also wanted to say this, first thing I’m doing in frontiers, is drowning sonic, I need to see if they kept the music.
