@Fizza 'tis pretty neat. My hometown used to do a big fireworks show, but 'cos of current circumstances it's not happened for the past couple of years, and not this year either.
But people still set off fireworks on and around the day. I'm 29 this time, so I'm a few years ahead of ya!
@Kermit1 I'm often an anxious person, but I've found just going out and doing something super ordinary by yourself helps, nothing bad's gonna happen.
'Cos of covid stuff, the past couple of years I've had to go in to the optician's for my eye tests by myself after being driven there by dad, and I think it helps. The problem though is keeping that up outside of that one thing, as aside from that, I don't really go out at all unless it's to go to my dad's house.
@Fizza@TopazLink Wishing you both a happy birthday! Have a wonderful day.
@Tyranexx It might be technology screwing up somehow, I don't see how microSD cards would get jostled around when they're inserted. They'd just stay in place. At least, it wouldn't happen to me. I mostly play docked as well. I sometimes play in handheld mode, but not nearly as much, since my Switch tends to stay in my game room. I have my 3DS next to my bed if I wanna play a game or two before I sleep. On the subject of that, been playing Mole Mania last time. I was kinda burnt out on Wario Land 3 (that game has you revisit levels a lot...) so I was in the mood to play something else.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Had a good day today, after a busy couple of days, my friend who moved away visited. We did some Switch gaming and played Racing Karts, Hotshot Racing, Slipstream, Sonic Colors Ultimate, and My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure (wanted to play the multiplayer mini-games). We also went to the mall and treated myself to some Trolls coloring books, and picked up new Christmas lights and a few other things I needed (had to do a few errands, so did them while out).
Since the previous week was busy, quoting replies because I'm really late. Apologies for the late replies.
@Sunsy The only other unauthorized non-pets (We had barn cats, but they'd often freak out indoors after sneaking in out of curiosity) that got into the house were mice. Maybe a bird once, but that was temporary. I grew up in a log cabin in a small wooded area, which is way less glamorous than it sounds lol. My parents own a small farm.
I think I also had a few mice in the old house, but they disappeared once we got a cat, lol. I think a bird got into my room once by an opening near my air conditioner, thankfully it got out. then we put a new piece of wood over the unit to keep it in the window (it was a side open window). That sounds really nice, both the cabin and the farm.
Hey guys, hope you're all doing well. Been kind of a busy day for me (again), but today I went on Nintendo's online store and placed an order for the Raccoon Mario ornament. Can't wait to add that to my Christmas tree this year.
@Sunsy Ah yeah I remember hearing about that Maleficent movie recently. Isn't that a Disney+ exclusive? I may check it out at some point.
Awesome to see you got the Splatoon amiibos. Perhaps I'll just settle with the Splatoon 3 ones... preferably when I get the game itself, lol. I've heard of the Skylanders Bowser/Donkey Kong figures, I remember seeing them on a catalog. Pretty neat to see that they work as amiibos as well.
Ah lucky you then, I don't think I ever laid eyes on a Neo Geo Pocket Color in real life. Just the Game Boy, and I met someone in school who had a Game Gear as well. I've been curious about Sonic Pocket Adventure, I would like to try that out on some point. IIRC, they made some NGPC games on Switch, though I don't think that Sonic game is out yet.
Nice, that's a good way to celebrate Halloween as well. For me, when it was getting close to Halloween, I just so happened to be close to Mad Monster Mansion while playing Banjo-Kazooie. The day before, I finished Gobi's Valley, and got the last jiggy in Freezeezy Peak. Perfect timing on my part.
Oh and fun fact about me - the theme for New Donk City is my ringtone. Saw your recent post about what your ringtone is.
@EllaTheKawaiiNeko People with autism are normal people, they just have a different way of "seeing" the world.
Being someone with autism, this. I've had autism since I was a kid, but never really spoke about it since the subject was never brought up (I possibly did drop a hint because I mentioned special needs high school in the past). Honestly, always been afraid to since I've seen "autistic" thrown around as an insult online.
I'll also agree with this, and yeah I can't blame you... I've seen that on quite a few occasions, and I can't stand people who use the word "autistic" as an insult. It's insanely rude and unnecessary. That's also something I've dealt with since I was younger, so I totally understand where you're coming from. We're all on our own journey, too, so it's all good.
I'm doing well, see above. I've been busier than usual because of a friend visiting, so I had to do some stuff around the house to make it nice.
Nope, I believe it was theatrically released, it came out in 2013 or 2014 IIRC. It was long before Disney+ was a thing.
Yeah, the Skylanders versions of Bowser and Donkey Kong have a nifty feature where you turn their figure stand and it either sets it to amiibo or Skylander. They're really cool and interesting in person.
It was surprising to even see one, especially since up to that point I've only seen it in magazines. I've heard of those collections, but I don't think Sonic Pocket Adventure would happen as Sega owns the rights. It would be cool to get a re-release of it as it is an interesting piece of Sonic history that most haven't played.
Sounds fun, haunted themed levels are fun to play around Halloween. Monster Bash was fun, I completed it Halloween evening, boy the backgrounds were creepy on the last level. Completed because I did use the lives code on the included hint sheet, so I can't call it beaten. Fun, but the levels felt like it went everywhere. LGR said in his video "Half the time I feel like the game is punishing me, instead of me playing bad." I had fun and still playing it.
That's awesome. Even though it's not up on iTunes anymore, I did buy the single for Jump Up Superstar. Nintendo should do this more, Sega releases music officially.
Yeah, I've had autism since I was little. It's just a part of who I am, though honestly, meltdowns and sensory problems can be hard, though sensory can also be good, like a feel of a plushie for example. Yeah, I've seen "autistic" used as an insult way too often online. The word doesn't bother me if someone uses it to describe themselves or something, where it's not an insult. Sorry to hear you had to deal with that insult when you were younger.
@Sunsy
Btw, have you played both Sonic Colours Ultimate and Sonic Forces ?
Sorry for asking again for those Sonic games but I really want to know which is easier to play without worrying about Game Over ?
Does Sonic Colours Ultimate still have Game Over screen ?
I heard Sonic Forces didn't have Game Over screen as you still able to survive no matter how many times you fell into bottomless pit.
The Sonic games on PS4 looks really tempting from the cover and the graphics especially when being played on PS5, but once again... I'm afraid if I will waste my money again for buying another Sonic games and still unable to enjoy the games due to have to performing in high speed and precisely quick reaction to dash over the obstacle as for me I still unable to react something very quickly if I have never knew something before. I might able to clear one stage as long I only use normal running without dashing or very quick reaction performance.
What is your verdict for me ?
Should I forgot those games no matter how beautiful their games looking ?
@Anti-Matter I wouldn't know too much because I haven't gotten a game over in Sonic Colors Ultimate yet as I know the game already due to playing the original on Wii (will admit, Ultimate's wall jump thing did get annoying, when Sonic sticks to a wall during the score breaking mini-game). It's been years since I've played Forces, so I can't remember.
Will say, if you didn't enjoy previous Sonic games you tried, chances are you may not like these. Sonic Forces practically reminds me of Sonic Generations, some levels with 3D Sonic gameplay, some with 2D Sonic gameplay. Plus some of the platforming in Colors can be pretty hard, in both versions.
Ultimately it's up to you, again, if you didn't enjoy the other ones you tried, you might not like these. I wish there were demos of these you could try to see if you like them before buying them. Sadly, neither of these don't.
@Eagly I can't help but agree with this as I often see it online. It's also why I usually avoided talking about my autism online because of those insults, or the even worse one that I really don't like (was called it in the past too sadly).
@Anti-Matter Sonic colors ultimate 100% they got rid of the ability to even have a game over, and sonic forces is known for having what was dubbed by community as the rage quit zone, the game is easy but it has its hard parts.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Eagly
I don't understand with the "hot garbage" from Sonic Forces since I have never played that game before.
Was that the game performance issues (glitches and etc) or fps issue or something else ?
The Non Game Over screen from Sonic Forces from what I heard was pretty similar as Non Game Over from Super Mario Odyssey, that means you will not worry about Game Over.
@Eagly Indeed. Compared to other gaming sites I've been to in the past this place is pretty chill. I think my whole time here, I had to only use the "ignore" button twice.
@Snatcher I did. Seriously, I actually had fun with Sonic Forces. Will admit, I always considered those water slides in the jungle zone whose name I can't think of because I haven't played it in awhile, were difficult to get through.
Last Sonic game I bought was Sonic Lost World on PC. I have it on Wii U, but wanted it on PC because I always have access to a PC. My mother pre-ordered Sonic Frontiers, but I can't have it until Christmas. I only know this because I needed to help her order it.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy I’m happy you enjoyed it, really, I’m glad someone else was able to find joy in something I, didn’t, because that’s what I was there for. I heard shadows levels were much, much better, so I’m planning to give it a go tonight, just to play the last mainline sonic title before frontiers, I hope the story has gotten adventure ish like people have said.

@Eagly
If Sonic Forces just only about 4 hours, that means good sign for me as I prefer shorter games than too long to play games.
I still don't get it the negativity from what it called hot garbage from Sonic Forces.
If the game was pretty basic to play for casual gamer who have no knowledge about Sonic games and still able to finish one stage without feeling frustrated, that means the game is right for them.
I think the review was from hardcore gamers who are familiar with Sonic games but for casual gamer, I play the games from different perspective. What is hot mess for other peoples might be something good for me.
Remember the case of Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival ?
A lot of peoples hate that game but I like that game for completely different reason.
A lot of peoples hate the idea of using Amiibo figurines to play and the board game lack of party games like Mario Party but actually I like the idea of the simplicity from Amiibo Festival.
I used the Amiibo Festival gameplay rules for my own board game to be played in the school and that was something helpful for me.
I got 140 USD for my birthday. I don't know if I wanna risk it and spend it and hope my cake business booms, or if I wanna spend it on my family's Christmas gifts.
Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Murin!
President of the Chit-Chat thread
@EllaTheKawaiiNeko If it were me I'd spend it.... But buying Christmas presents might be the best idea, Black Friday is around the corner and you might wanna beat empty shelves.
A Cake business around Christmas is both a good and bad idea, it's good because people want cake around the holidays, it's bad because those people who want cake will get it from the store or a proper company I'm not saying people don't want to buy cake from you I'm just saying it might be tricky.
