I’m watching the Nintendo Minute where they’re playing the new Labo kit for 15 minutes. Cardboard cravings.

How is oopona for the Wii?
Some say it's a boring game while some say it's very unique, how would you guys describe it?

Been on a hunt for (good) obscure Wii tiltes recently.

It actually reminded me more of R Type meets Rondo of Blood. Meets Splatterhouse. And street fighter 20XX.

@Anti-Matter: Sounds like an awesome trip! I'm glad that everyone had a good time, and that things went off without a hitch! I'm slightly jealous, actually; I don't think any field trips that I had as a kid ever scratched my gaming itch and my love of dinosaurs so well.

Speaking of, I apparently just spent almost two hours playing SmashU off screen trying to polish up my Samus/Zero suit play. Link has always been my main with Samus as a backup; trying to switch it up.

I'm sorta ok at using Bowser Jr.

I found that I generally prefer Toon Link in Smash U. He's the character that always felt the most "right" to me.

I think a semi-close second for me is Lucina.

I actually recorded the last time I played smash with my friends.

As you can see my style is "jump & explode". If I can't win I might as well annoy them.

There's no need to watch after the second fight. I only won the first two

I wonder if anybody would think one of my smash mains is in my avatar or something?

I really loved that game. I actually got my copy from some sexy bald gamer somewhere ...

My Wii had been getting really warm when I wasn't using it and it was getting a bit scary...

Turns out I never turned off the Wii connect 24 thingy and stuff. I turned that off and now it's cool. Also the power led is now red instead of orange.

The weird thing is that it didn't even have access to the internet to begin with (our new modem uses an unsupported password format), so that means that dead service makes the Wii try and try and try and try and try again to get data over and over even if it doesn't even have access to the internet!

Poor Wii, I wish I had noticed it before.

@Yosheel So it was turned on for all those years?

@Yosheel If only the Wii made a noise like my PS3 does when it's in sleep mode. Crunches away like it's communicating with an intergalactic species somewhere. Been doing it for months without use. Can't be good for it. Whatcha gonna do?

@Octane Nah, it's all those creepy things from the early commercials that live inside the PS3, remember? Those machines have some sort of Event Horizon thing going on!

This was an overnight thing. It would heat up overnight, the light was orange all the time.
