I downloaded Pokemon Red to my 2DS! To play again and have a way to trade pokemon on my own! And I randomly noticed that almost every person in the game talks with short sentences separated by exclamation marks!

Just something I hadn't noticed before! Now I'll never unsee it!

Senpai is just an honorific term used in Japan to call a senior member of a group of people (it's similar to Chan, San, etc.).

It's a common term in romantic anime/manga, and often used in a parodying way on the internet.
