Topic: Smash Bros vs. The Avengers

Okay, this might be a random topic, but I've been watching through MCU movies recently, and had a thought. Who would win: The main 6 avengers, or the first 6 characters in the Smash roster? Then I realized Kirby was in the first 6 spots, which would break the question, so I decided to replace him with Sonic, cause he just seems like a good fit. So here are the teams.

So, who would win? Keep in mind, this is MCU canon Avengers, and game canon Smash team. No comics are considered, and that goes for both sides considering comic Sonic is absurdly overpowered. This is also BOTW/TOTK link specifically, as he is the most powerful. Samus has all her abilities from the end of Metroid Dread as well. Basically it's every character in top form. Anyway, I look forward to seeing people's thoughts on this, as I still don't have a good answer.

Honestly if sonic has access to super sonic they have a shot, but he definitely couldn’t do it alone due to hulk and Thor I feel like. And you said canon smash bros right? So can yoshi use his angel form? This Mario also has cappy as well which could be pretty nutty since it was able to take over the likes of bowser though probably only when weakened.

@Snatcher They have the canon power of their games, not necessarily just smash Bros. I would say no super sonic, since he's borderline invincible. But outside of that, I'd say they all have access to their most powerful regular form. Samus has all her abilities from the end of dread, since that's her at her best. Hulk would be an issue though, but one could argue DK is stronger. He did punch the moon out of the sky once, which is a lot.

I think Mario would die pretty quick if it just takes a few hits to defeat him, plus none of his powerups are really affective. The best thing he could do is find a Giga Bell. I also don't think Cappy can capture anything useful to fight the Avengers.
Yoshi also isn't that helpful and could probably be defeated with one punch from Hulk.
Donkey Kong has to do fist fighting, so fighting Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hawkeye won't be good, and he would be easily outmatched by the Hulk. He may have a chance against Black Widow, but as long as she stays aware, DK won't be able to do any damage. (Or he could bring out the old coconut gun, but I still think Iron Man would still be able to get rid of him pretty fast.)
Link can use Urbosa's Fury to do a lot of damage and use Mipha's Grace to have another life. He has a bit of an advantage over Hawkeye because Link can slow down time if he shoots when falling. I think ancient arrows are cheating, but even with bomb arrows, he can be deadly. The hugest benefit to Link is that if he packs enough food, he can stay alive for a long time. He also has Daruk's Protection to defend from arrows. If we add his TOTK abilities, he could use a ton of zonai equipment and make dangerous vehicles.
Samus I sadly have never played Metroid Dread, but I do know that Samus will have plenty of useful weapons and such that would be useful against the Avengers.
Sonic He can kick and punch and not get hit by any of the avengers because of his speed. The spindash could do a lot of damage to Iron Man's suit too.
Conclusion Yoshi, Mario, and Donkey Kong would get eliminated quickly, but Link, Samus, and Sonic could hold some ground. Overall, I believe the Avengers would win because they would have a lot of trouble fighting the Hulk. Plus, it's basically a 3 vs. 6. If anyone wants to add more points or debate on whether the Smash team would be better, I would love to hear your thoughts! Please feel free to tell me what I missed.
