What's a good nes replacement controller?

The cheapest/best NES replacement controller is a normal NES controller. If you mean you're looking for something aside from that, try the NES Max controller (turbo buttons are the best).

You can also find the NES controller in a Dogbone shape that came with the top loading NES.

Try looking online or see if you have a retro game store near you. Also thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets are great places to look to.

I am not sure by what you mean cheap though. What price range is cheap to you?
