Yep, tonight is the night we get visited by the spirits here in Mexico. We party at the graveyards and leave food in offerings for our gone family members. It is a nice celebration, that has been mixed with Halloween, there are even some trick or treat going on here and there; aaaand is a great time for some scary stories.

The author obviously wrote the story without FiM in mind at first, but I do think he adapted it nicely.

So I just saw the commercial for the new episodes; looks like it's gonna be great as always!
...probably won't be able to see them all right away; they'll most likely be on at times that conflict with my daily activities... but hopefully you guys won't mind telling me about them? Then, if there's a particularly good episode, I can make a special effort to watch it!

[On Fimfiction Slice-of-Life Complete Everyone]
It is Twilight Sparkle's first night as a princess of Equestria. As the excitement she felt during coronation fades away, it gives way to a deeper anxiety that doesn't let her sleep. Her thoughts dwell on her new destiny, her responsibilities, her fears, and her own mortality... or lack of.
As morning draws nearer, Twilight leaves her bed haunted by a question, and so she decides to seek out the one pony who can answer it.
A really sweet piece that tries to put a new light on the Princesses immortality issue. Personally, I strongly agree with the author points of view, but besides that, he presents them very nicely. I really liked her depiction of Twilight, her fears and feelings throughout the story, and the conversation with her mentor; and even if you don't agree with this Celestia's mentality, she just feels wise and plausible.
Very good writing.
And Best pony vs. Greatest and most Powerful pony:
The RP seems to be on hold, but that is fine, been busy. Hopefully we can revive it these coming vacations.

For this ==Fic of The Week== I present you: Wise Beyond Her Years by Pen Stroke
[On Fimfiction Adventure Complete Teen]
The newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle has discover a secret, a secret she doesn’t dare to believe. Like puppeteers pulling on marionettes, they have influenced Equestria for better and worse since the fall of Discord. So far they have been benevolent, but their potential for evil is vast. What’s worse, she doesn’t know their name. She doesn’t know their mission. All she knows for certain is one thing:
They all seem to be zebra.
The latest work of Pen Stroke, and you know this man knows the craft. This story has a very original concept, by MLP Fanfiction standards , no, really it is surprisingly unique. Twilight Sparkle does seem like a mare that, given enough evidence, would succumb under the thoughts of a conspiracy theory. But there is more here than the amazing characterization of our new Princess. We see all mane six looking for clues around Equestria, each one discovering a piece of Equestria's history, and those tales are magnetically crafted, in both the tale itself and how it is discovered. From Fluttershy being helped by her old pal Discord, to RD trying to be like Daring Do, and Pinkie Pie... being a bit too much Pinkie Pie, which her fans will surely enjoy, there is something in this story for everypony.

Woha. Kinda sad to see there where no posts for 6 days. A new record?
On a sad note, Ponykart is cancelled. (You know, the pony version of mario kart that was in cool 3D, @Blue_Ace got really excited about it) it wasn't updated in over a year, but still sad to see another project die. At least the reason is more positive this time around. (The dev's got actual jobs at studio's and had little time for this game instead of Hasbro being stupid) not suprising, but the good part is that they will release the stuff for their game to use in other games. link
Sorry everypony for being so inactive here. Been busy, though trying not to find anything on the new season may have kept me a little as well.
@Discostew Marvelous! She must be super duper luper soft and cuddly! Now where did my Pinkie Pie go to then... Oh well, I'm sure she'll show up on my door eventually.
@CorporalPegasus Huh... I guess I can't see it since I'm not a member of the group. Still, nice to know some are going to try and carry the torch of their discontinued project. I wish the best for the old team, and the new one.

Season 4 is almost here. I gotta say that I've been able to keep a good lid on my hype for a while, but with it almost here, I can't help but get nervouscited. Hurry up Saturday!

@CorporalPegasus I know. Typographies can be really good if done right. And to answer your question, they are from the same set. a company called 4DE produces them, and they are by and large the best official plushies you can get outside of the truly remarkable fan ones. Sadly, they are only a small company based in the USA though. Also might I say that your avatar is quite fitting for the season, and you made me have the urge to change mine too.
