I know this isn't applicable to some here, but anyone else here having terribly hot, record-breaking temperatures? Last year here in Tulsa, we had an awful Summer that had almost every day in the 100s, one day we threatened the one-day record high. I expected this year we'd have a milder Summer. Wrong. We started having 100 degree highs starting even before Summer officially started. And according to the 5PM news on our CBS affiliate, it got up to 117 effin' degrees here, which breaks the all-time hottest temperature in Tulsa (think it was 115 before). And, we're in extreme drought conditions, no rain in sight, and the city is about to impose mandatory water restrictions. Anybody of you other NLifers baking?

Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D

In the Pacific Northwest we are having below average temps, with above average rainfall and plenty of snowpack in the mountains.

It's always hot here in Texas, but I don't think it ever reached temperatures as high as those.

It's been in the high 90's all summer here. But the real problem is that good old fashioned midwest humidity which has pushed the heat index well past 110 consistently.

Having similar weather
here in Missouri. Not quite as hot, but still plenty of days in the low to mid 100's (I think we maxed out somewhere around 110).

Dry as well. The grass is brown & the trees are dying.

Whenever it gets hot over here in California, I just take off my shirt.

As if the highs aren't bad enough, you can't even cool down at night. We're also having record high lows in the upper 80s. It was 101 at MIDNIGHT last night! It was supposed to be a low of 86. By contrast, Colorado Springs, CO, where I spent most of my childhood, was supposed to have a HIGH of 88 degrees today! It's the beginning of the end of everything!!! December 2012 is fast approaching...
