I think I'm coming down with hay fever or something. I've felt like absolute crap these couple of days. It just keeps getting worse.

Yesterday, i tried to go watch Fast and the Furious 7. Somehow it seemed like everyone in the neighboorhood had that same idea, so tickets were sold out.

So this is a major disappointment here I guess you would call it. I got a phone call from my son's school and apparently he has been having suicide thoughts for awhile now. Everything seemed fine but apparently he has been talking about this to his friend at school that's how the school found out by his friend telling a teacher. He keeps stuffed bottled up cause he doesn't want to worry other people and he wants to handle it himself. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to hound him but when I try to talk about it he says he's fine and doesn't want to talk about it, but I don't want to ignore it either. I just don't know what to do.

As somebody who struggled with suicidal thoughts for 14 years and kept them bottled up until things burst...I highly, highly recommend talking to him. I can't think of anyone more qualified to talk to him than his dad.

3 weeks from now; I'll have to give in my honours project for University. It's worth double the usual marks.
I have next to nothing to show... so anything I make will be rushed. I seem to work best under pressure but still, I'm mad at myself for not putting more effort in when I could have. The re-sit exam I have to do this week doesn't help...

I lost my appointment cards to see my doctor, and now I can't get to a person on the phone to ask what my already-scheduled appointments are. Like, every option takes me to some machine, and all I could do was leave specific messeges and they'd take care of it - There is no "talking to a receptionist" that I can find, nor did it sound like they were out of the office and would get back to me later...What the hell...and no, there's no way I can get it via email. The only way I'll know is to either: Take an hour-long bus ride to the doctor's office and ask the receptionists there, assuming they haven't been replaced with robots, or just sit and wait for an automated messege the day before the appointment, telling me to "call if I won't be able to make it". But I need to put in at least two weeks notice for work...ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

This teacher I know is being indited because a parent lied about her child being abused. They will not get off until the child is over 28. The school they work at is an Chinese oriented school and the school used this to get more security cameras and stuff. Since this is an Chinese oriented school, they never have holidays so they force the teacher to work on holidays, as well.
So not only can't they leave the job they are unable to have any holiday at all. This school receives public funding as well as any non-profitable foundation as well.

Well depression is starting to rear it's ugly head for me. I want out of California, since there's really nothing for me here. Stuff is to expensive and having a low paying job doesn't help plus I am just tired of it. Thing is I just don't know how to go about it with very little money. It just feels like I am trapped here. Which makes me depressed.

Oh right, you're in California, not Texas. I was thinking of @Sharecrow.

And I sorta get what you're saying, Tas. I feel like I'm trapped in the Capital Region of New York for pretty much my entire life. I won't pretend I fully relate - I'm more trapped because of my "disability" than my financial situation, but I do understand how frustrating a feeling it is. Only advice I got is to save up, even pennies in a jar better than nothing. Look for job opportunities that might result in some sort of move, etc. I won't pretend these are quick or easy, but it's all I can think of, and as far as I can tell, it's better than nothing...

As for my disappointment: http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2015/04/star_wars_battlefront_...

It's not the lack of a campaign mode that disappoints me, it's how many people, even the author of the article, knew absolutely nothing about Battlefront, yet somehow got super excited for it, under the false expectation that it would have a singleplayer campaign mode. It's Battlefield with Star Wars characters, of course it's going to be completely multiplayer-focused. And why would anybody want a CoD-style half-@$$ed campaign, anyways?! It'd just take dev-time away from the aspects that made the series fun in the first place.

Seriously, this blows my mind.

Yeah, it is sad to see people act like they're taking something away that was never there.

Yep that's the conclusion I came too as well and I just have to tell myself to stick to it. I may have to fore go some luxury items for awhile but if I want out of here that's what I will have to do.

They should have called it Star Wars Battlefield to make it clear it has nothing to do with the old Battlefront games.

what does this have to do with what we just talked about? The originals never had real campaigns, and neither does the new one, so nothings changed there. And it looks like it does have a good number of things like the originasl. Like playing heroes (or villains) like Darth Vadar, or being able to play in first or third-person.

Star Wars: Battlefront II definitely has a campaign.

^It has Star Wars lore capped between Bot Matches that aren't any different than the Multiplayer. That is not much of a campaign, and certainly not worth the resources.

Star Wars: Battlefront II definitely has a campaign.

It was the MP with bots, some different objectives, and a narrative, nothing proper. It wasn't that long either, nothing bigger than the SP in the new one. Honestly the SP content in the new BF sounds more well done and specialized than what was in the original games.

I got my New Nintendo 3DS yesterday and I absolutely love it. But then I found out how long it takes to transfer data from my 3DS to my New 3DS.

Yup, and I got it worse than normal. At 90% the transfer failed and I had to restart; luckily I didn't lose any data.

I will update this when Half Life 3 arrives. [Started 17/11/2015]
