@Sunsy I am really enjoying the sled hockey. (Sorry for the late response been busy the past few days). It is alot higher scoring the regular hockey but it is just as entertaining to watch.

I watched the USA/Germany game tonight on Peacock.

@Tasuki Me too, I already seen two of the sled hockey events. I saw the one you mentioned, USA vs Germany, and I think I saw China vs. Germany on Saturday. So far, it's really cool to see.

I just went to tune in for USA vs. China, but entered the stream right when it ended. Going to wait and catch the replay once it's up.

@Sunsy Yeah I will have to catch the replay as well cause I was asleep when it aired live and then I have work today.

Its funny because it seems that the only time I can really watch Hockey either normal or sled is when the Winter Olympics are on. I tend to follow the NHL, Blackhawks mainly but watching a game is just a pain. I guess maybe cause hockey doesnt seem as popular on the West Coast as it is on the East Coast. The nearest pro team to me is like a 3 to 4 hour drive away and thats if traffic is cooperating. That also means that even if they do play I dont get a broadcast of it and then there's the problem is I dont even know who podcasts it. Most of the time I just catch highlights on Sportscenter or some other sports recap show.

@Tasuki I thought it was a good game. USA won over China, 7 to 1.

I live on the east coast, fairly close to New York, which is how I went to a Rangers game. My friend wanted to go to a hockey game for his birthday, and took me. That night I enjoyed hockey for the first time. It was Rangers vs. Flames, who are actually playing tonight. Feels like I've come full circle since that was my first game last March. It is popular here, I've seen people in Rangers gear (I have a Rangers baseball cap myself), Devils gear, even saw someone in a Blackhawks shirt once when I did an errand, and met someone who likes the Sharks.

Similarly, I usually just listen to the games. The NHL app has live radio broadcasts for every team. I don't have cable, so I usually listen to that and watch highlights on YouTube, or get lucky when Disney+ broadcasts a game under their ESPN free section.

Edit: Side note, seeing the women's hockey during the Olympics made me check out the PWHL on YouTube.

@Sunsy Yeah my state has two Hockey teams that I am aware of, Sharks and Kings and they are quite some hours away. Still when people do wear sports gear hear its usually Baseball, Football or Basketball not really hockey. Heck the city nearest to me even has a professional soccer team. I know that was a big initiative for the NHL for awhile to get more West Coast teams and up hocky's popularity here and their are more West Coast teams popping up, I believe Utah just got one but its just doest seem as popular here as the East Coast.

@Tasuki Interesting, even though it's not as new as Utah, I do know of Seattle Kraken. My friend who took me to the Rangers game likes them too, it's his favorite away team. I find it surprising even with teams out there it's not as popular. Just today, I took a walk to pick up lunch and do an errand, and I got a random "Go Rangers!" from someone just from walking and wearing my cap.

So it looks like it will be round 3 for US and Canada for the gold in hockey, this time its sled hockey. Interesting enough if US wins they will be the first team to sweep hockey in the Winter games since they have already won gold in Men's and Woman's hockey.
