@Tasuki If I remember, it was within the last 10 minutes of the 3rd period. I was watching and just heard the theme playing in the background. I even rewound the part of the game just to see if I really heard it.

I wont be able to catch the US Men's Hockey game today as I work. Will definitely watch the replay when its up on Peacock. Mainly watched Men's Skeleton today and some speed skating. Last night I watched figure skating and a bit of the skiing events. I did see the US take the silver in mixed doubles curling the other night as well. Overall I am enjoying these games.

Wow heartbreak for Iiiian Malinin. Sad to see him faulter like that but honestly he needed that. It reminded him that he is human after all and they way he took it you can tell he will learn from it. I cant wait to see him in 2030.

I watched the men's giant slalom competition this morning, since a Brazilian was going to compete and they said he had a chance at the podium and... he won the gold medal.
I wasn't expecting that. Brazil's first medal in the history of the Winter Olympic Games, it was worth watching live.

It's wild watching two person bobsled, seems like everyone is hitting the top of turns 2 and 3. At first I thought they were out of control, and then the germans did it, too. Apparently, that's the price for bobsled speed on the italian track.

Apologies if hockey is the only thing I've been tuning in for. Today's game against USA and Sweden was great, and it was a close one too.

Hope no one minds me putting thoughts into spoilers. Since I know not everyone can watch live and has to watch a replay. I had to watch a replay of the Canada vs. France game since I missed it live. I'm surprised Tom Wilson got a Gordie Howe hat trick during the Olympics, even though fighting isn't allowed in Olympic hockey.

@Sunsy I am waiting for the woman's Hockey final between US and Canada. Hopefully its better then their group play game.

Going into the third period the USA/Canada Woman's Hockey gold medal game is much better then their first meeting at these Olympics.

Overtime in the Gold Medal game. Doesn't get any better then this.

Such a great game and congrats to team USA for gold in woman's hockey.

@Sunsy Its was great to see that 5-0 blowout by US against Canada in the group play was a fluke. This game was alot better and more what I expected from these two teams.

@Tasuki Awesome! Going to have to watch the replay of it. I had a bit of a busy day, so I missed out on a good chunk of the game, until I came to my computer and saw your post. Thanks again, it was an exciting third period and overtime.

I got to see the new event to these games Skiing Mountaineering, which was an great event to watch. Very interesting to see them climb up the mountain just to ski down.

Looks like it will be US/Canada for the gold medal game in Men's Hockey.

Watched the Figure Skating Gala this morning which is one of my favorite.parts of the Winter Olympics. I got.a kick from the Georgia couple using Mortal Kombat.

Congrats to USA for winning gold. That men's hockey final was intense and really good.

Going to miss this. It was nice watching hockey on Peacock. I don't have sports streaming or cable so whatever hockey I tune in for is on the radio, or whatever games the NHL puts on Disney+ under ESPN's free category.

Edit: It's also rather cool this happened on the anniversary of the Miracle on Ice.

@Sunsy In general I am going to miss the Olympics overall. Just the variety of events and such. Though it will feel good to get back to my normal routine. Having really been watching or playing anything else since my free time has been consumed with the Olympics. Well, we have 875 days till the 2028 Summer Olympics, at least for that one I will be on the same time schedule as them.

@Sunsy Are you going to watch the sled hockey portion of tbe Paralympics?

@Tasuki Honestly, that's new to me. Even though I've been into hockey for almost a year, I still feel new to it. Checking Peacock, looks like they're going to have sled hockey if the upcoming section is anything to go by. I think I will check it out. Thanks!
