I don't see why you limit yourself to being just a handheld gamer, but I guess people have their preferences...

You're missing out a lot of big games, such as Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Sonic Mania and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. There's also a lot more coming in the future such as Metroid Prime, Pokémon and Shin Megami Tensei.

There some really good Indie games on the Switch that are worth trying too. The Steamworld and Shantae games are a good start.

I am aware that portal knights and Rime are indies, they seem fun (i watched gameplay vids) Fast RMX though, thats a really good indie, graphics not had.Any other indies like it that u know?

I'll also recommend these:

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2
  • Octopath Traveler (if you can stand the artstyle)
  • Shining Resonance:Refrain
  • The World Ends With You - Final Remix

@WestTexan I never said that, I just added Breath of the Wild because it wasn't on your list (Unless that what "breath of fire" was ).

I had forgotten to mention Octopath Traveller as well! It has a demo so you can try it out once you have a Switch.

I will only be buying game cartridges,do i need a memory card?Asking this because the ps vita couldnt run any games ( even with game cartridges) without a micro sd card

There's 32GB internal memories so no you don't. Although some of the patches are getting big so maybe 64GB ones aren't bad idea? Or just 32GB, really.

Oh yeah, you should try Hollow Knight too for indie, that one is really great

@WestTexan Around here we try and limit the amount of 'please recommend some games' threads by having a specific recommendations thread for each platform. So for Switch recommendations please use the following thread in future:

https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/nintendo-switch/the_switch...

Thanks.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
