I saw that a while ago. That's phenomenal - if I never saw my wife, or did anything else, I think I could manage 2-3 hours a day on average. That would still take me, optimistically, 9 months to finish.

The whole time, never playing another game... Wow.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

My god. That is just ridiculous. To be honest, he needs to sort his life out.

I am a huge fan of the series....but is the game worth buying for playing on my 3DS? I doubt, because the graphics don't look too good.....

I haven't tried it on the 3DS yet, I will try it out later on today and will get back to you on that.

Thank you, but i don't mind the difference on the 2 machines....i just wonder, is it worth buying? Because it is still a very expensive game! And how's the online stuff....can you send messages, or chat?

I had a few free minutes before going to work and I popped in DQ 9 card into the 3DS and it looks fine for me. I don't see much difference between the 3DS and my DSi.

Now that I put that in, going to keep it in for a while and play it over the weekend.

Wow I have had the game for a year and I have only played about 70 hours. My friend who got the game a few months after me has clocked about 250 hours last I saw him. My little time playing this awesome game is due to the fact that I bough 3 more Dragon Quest games before the end of summer 2010.

I have about 100 hours on my copy, and have done everything I care to do. Fun, but I cannot imagine playing 700 hours of this game. o.0
But still, whatever floats your boat, I suppose :3

Never spent more than 70 hours on a game, and even then, I'm not sure I did this score ^^ Well, I still intend to play at least 30 hours on Solatorobo to get 100%, but that will be all (DL Quest not included ^^)

He's a game developer, game developers need to, you know, PLAY games sometimes. If he learned stuff from it and enjoyed himself then there's no problem.
