Re: Talking Point: Would You Like To See More Streaming Media Apps On 'Switch 2'?

witters

I would love to have the option of more streaming apps on switch and would deffintley use them. I don't own a laptop/tablet like most people so my switch oled screen would be a huge upgrade over my phone for watching movies from my favourite streaming services. It's not a huge deal that netflix and the rest are not supported on switch but at the same time it's also ridiculously frustrating that they are not .

@Steifybobbins thanks I didn't hurt myself and am aware it was my fault that I damaged the internals . Like I said I was careless , did it in abit of a rush and what happened happened . First ever piece of nintendo hardware I have ever damaged. Do you not agree a game card slot should be fully accessible and not require a credit card or paperclip to open ? if so then yea nintnedo would be somewhat to blame because it is a poor design choice on there part . Even more strange as the OG switch has a perfectly accessible game card slot that in 4 and half years have never had a problem with and I'm sure nobody else has . So strange and I'm sure it will get a silent revision soon that corrects this issue

For those enjoying your switch oled I am not , have broke it already , was getting frustrated at several attempts to open the game card slot I used a knife and was a bit careless and followed through, didn't think I had done enough to damage it though but yep will not read any game card now! very upset as had my regular switch from day 1 and this problem dose not exist . Be very careful guys and girls if you use something to prod that ridicules game card case open

Re: FIFA 21 Costs £45 On Switch, Despite Being Another 'Legacy' Reskin

This is so bad from EA yes , but fifa 21 will still be the best football game on switch . Konami have not bothered giving us any version of pes . So this is on them . EA can price this how they like with no competition from pes . Lazy from EA , they will sell enough copies to cover there investment with a bit of profit but that's it . They could do so much better it's a shame we could of had a improved fifa maybe not parity with other versions but switch specific improvements which wo ukd of made us happy . And the sales would reflect that I'm sure

Re: Soapbox: There's No Shame In Playing On Easy, Even If You're A Pro

I like this article , agree with everything chris said . I used to play games on all difficulty settings when I was a kid from easy to hard . Really master the game . But nowadays just dont have the patience or stamina to spend the time with any particular game mastering every aspect of it . Too little time and too many games I want to play through and experience . I tend to go for normal difficulty on most games but with more complex games like ASTRAL CHAIN for example there is too many complex button inputs you need to know and memorise that if you put it down and pick up and play again weeks later or even months later as I often do , it's a pain cause i need to 're learn those controls rather then just putting it on a easier difficulty setting and button mashing my way through it . Another example is recently purchased and playing CRYSIS REMASTERED . The control options on this game are very limited so hugely handicaps my ability to perform well . I play inverted controls both with gyro and control sticks, this is how I play all my shooters on switch . But in CRYSIS these options are not there. So you can imagine how I struggle playing this game , Easy mode is hopefully just going to allow me to get through the game
