Re: Guide: Essential Nintendo Switch Accessories

Ya know, I was getting excited about the switch until reading this. I've got at least $1500.00 in Wii U equipment and games. I understand that it's out with the old, in with the new. It $75.00 for the pro controller? C'mon Nintendo! That's just BS

I've been gaming since the Colecovision was my Christmas gift in 1982. The Wii U I bought about 6 months after launch has been one of the most fun group video game machine I've ever played. Nobody cares about hardware stats when they're playing mario kart and spot the sneak together laughing and having a riot. People who don't play games played my Wii U with me and had a great time doing it. It was mis marketed, and mis named, but it was a great, fun console to play. Since it didn't have its own Zelda title, I will definitely buy Breath of the Wild for the Wii U. And when I complete it, then I'll probably get a Switch.

Re: Nintendo Wants Wii U To Be "The Console That Every Developer Wants To Publish On"

Ok guys, I've been a gamer since pong, and the wii u is the first nintendo hardware I've bought brand new, and not 10 years after it came out. I bought it because I played it in store on the demo kiosk, and it seemed different than my Xbox and playstation. I see almost no advertising for it on tv, and when I went to 4 different stores in the last week, the kiosks were in the corner, unplugged, and covered in dust. If they don't advertise, and the stores have given up marketing the console, then it's already dead. Which is sad, because I love it! If you guys have one, tell your friends and neighbors how much fun it is before we lose it all together!
