@speedracer216 you can’t really compare music to videogames, because everyone in the music industry understands keeping old records to keep old songs alive. The videogame industry doesn’t really have the same level of respect for what came before, and so the efforts of groups such as the Internet Archive actually are the only thing that keep a lot of old titles from being forgotten forever. Emulation is the only path to preserving a large chunk of videogame history, and I don’t think we need to ask the law to come down on gamers for basically circulating the tapes in the only avenue available to them
@speedracer216 the section you quoted just confirmed what the other comments have been saying to you, these sites aren’t selling the roms to anyone, so legally nothing is prosecutable.
