If this is true, wouldn't it defeat the purpose of a 3DS?

shingi_70 is right. Even if they somehow managed to get RE6 on the WiiU, I doubt Capcom would be able to implement the tablet well, considering the 2 year development of the game.

Agreed. I hope this only applies to the games not the actual online service itself.

I hate this idea though. Technically the game company has already gained money from the original buyer of the game. I don't see why the person who bought the game from the original buyer has to pay an additional $10 just to gain additional features.

If a console is meant to be played in a household and can only function in a household, I believe it should be called a home console.

Ugh all this processing stuff between the new systems is confusing. Oh well, the only reason I'm getting a WiiU is for the amazing first party games.
