I understand the criticism here and yet I find none of it bothers me. Perhaps as I get older I am more forgiving or just know that nothing will ever be perfect when it comes to video games. However, I am really enjoying it. Then again I am not trying to get through it with any sort of speed or urgency. I am after all still trying to finish TotK.
Mario Kart World is very nice to play a few rounds with my wife game, or pick up and play for a bit when I have a shorter amount of time. It is a perfect companion piece to a bigger game. It will likely rotate in and out for the entire Switch 2 lifecycle, especially if they add content and make tweaks. Based on 8 Deluxe, I would be surprised if it is not refreshed a few times over the next several years.
Trailer looked great, but I am taking a wait and see approach. If it really is open world, I will be excited. If not, meh. Not into more of the same. Felt a little hoodwinked by Sw/Sh.
