@dan561 I’m kind of with you. Not that I’m going to pass judgement so early - the game may be fun for some - but to me, it doesn’t seem very interesting, and I don’t like the graphics (although everything looks better in 3D).
Anyway, at least Nintendo is supporting the e-shop with new IPs! If this one doesn’t interest me, the next one (Dillon’s Rolling Western) at least has caught my eye!
I'm on a zelda rampage right now. I'm playing OoT, MM, and WW all for the first time (Thank you Christmas '11!). So, while of course I'm a huge Zelda fan, I've had my fix, and I'm not going to immediately jump on whatever is released.
However, this would be an interesting gimmick, and it reminds me that even if I have a plan to to buy a game, Nintendo has other ideas
This game looks rather awesome, even though I have no idea what’s going on. I can’t wait to learn more about it, to decide whether I’m going to buy it or not.
But either way, more e-shop content is great. It doesn’t have a constant stream of titles coming out like DSiWare did/does, but that’s fine by me so long as the titles that do come out are worthwhile!
The updates and added features are great, but I hope they continue throughout the systems lifespan. Some people are saying these additions are features that should have been available at launch, so I hope Nintendo disproves them by having at least a couple new system updates every year that add entirely new features instead of just additional content for pre-included apps.
(At least it’s better than the DSi, which had like, 3 updates? Facebook functionality, and the other two were piracy blocks)
I've been holding out on buying a 3DS until I thought the time was right. This almost convinced me it was time. . . but I've regained my composure, and am willing to continue waiting for my Flare Red!
What would be really neat is if the cradle held it's own charge- so it was essentially another battery pack. That doesn't seem likely, but hey, it would be cool!
^ 27 is right. I feel that my DSi screen protector is scratched fairly easily- it's probably a low-quality one, but I just feel safer playing with a screen protector.
For my brother, on the other hand, screen protectors are an absolute NECESSITY! Have you ever seen someone press down on the bottom screen SO hard, that it distorts? I have. It's quite frightening, I tell you.
@JamesNewton I'm not very interested in this game either, but the price is a steal. Wayforward was going to release this game in 3 parts, each part costing $8. At $12 with all parts included, that's $4 a part.
I think they should come out with a calendar/planner that you can export to the photo channel, and thus have it appear on the main menu. That would keep you from having to load the program once a day.
I loved the first one, I was playing it earlier today! For 200 points, this looks like a bargin. . . but I have to wonder, is it worth it, if I still play the first one regularly?
I don't feel like checking right now, but I'm in the 30-35 hour range. Personally I feel like this game deserves a 10/10- The minor flaws and quibbles do nothing to detract from the overall experience.
But I agree with you that the PC does need to be re-done. The way it is now is certainly an improvement, but it's not quite 'there' yet.
EDIT: Whoa! I'm actually 44 hours in. I didn't expect that
I have the WiiWare version, so I won't get the wii version. Even though I love tetris, though, I don't know if I'll get the DS version. I know they're coming out with a DSiWare tetris soon (it's a different game then this, for the people who are confused), and I'm getting that for a portable tetris that I'll always have with me. If I get this depends on how strong the draw of the new features is.
I'm skipping this one. I'll probably end up playing it eventually, but it'll be because I borrow it from a friend, not because I buy it myself.
Instead I'm getting Link to the Past for Christmas! I'm very excited about this, because I like the old-style Zelda games better than the new DS style.
Most people don't walk around with a piece of graph paper in their pockets. They're more likely to have their DSi. And if there's paper on the DSi, they'll have paper wherever they go.
I'm still not really sure if I want to get this. It depends on if I have any points left over.

Re: Merry Christmas from Nintendo Life!
Great story! It hasn’t snowed here yet, but this article makes today feel like Christmas Eve. . . Merry Christmas all

Re: 3DS Update in May Includes eShop and Other Applications
The 3DS will be awesome.
My DSi, however, is awesome.
I think I'll ride my DSi for a while longer, and wait for the 3DS to catch up.

Re: Japanese Retailer Sells Wii & Entire Games Catalogue Dirt Cheap
THat would be incredibly tedious. Imagine looking through all 408. . . just to find the one that you want to play!
Re: Rytmik: Rock Edition Just 200 Points in North America
I was considering the first one, but 800 points was a little steep for something I wasn't sure I'd be able to use.
75% off is amazing! I'll definitely get this now!
Re: Review: Tetris Party Live (DSiWare)
Lack of local multiplayer is disappointing, but if that's what justified the game being 500 instead of 800, then I'm not complaining!
Nice review, by the way. I was waiting for this.
Re: Review: Academy: Tic-Tac-Toe (DSiWare)
Couldn't it have tic-tac-toe on a larger grid? Like 9X9, as opposed to 3 3X3 games?
Re: Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary
Aw man... I studied this one...
(If I win, I'm getting the lost levels!)
Edit Just read that LL's 600 points >.>
Re: Brush Up on Your Super Mario Bros. Glitches, Tips and Tricks
Are they including the glitches in the 25th anniversary game? Because that'd be pretty sweet if they did.
Re: Review: Pang: Magical Michael (DS)
Is this game like bubble trouble? 'Cause tha's what it sounded like.

Re: Rytmik Gets Amped in Rytmik: Rock Edition
I still have to get the first one! Depending on how much I like that one, though, I might eventually get this one.
Re: Features: Bizarre Emails Sent to Nintendo Life
So those games I asked for. . are they on their way?

Re: Advanced Circuits Flash Demo Offers Free Wheeling
That was a really fun demo. The last puzzle gave a taste of difficulty, as well.
I'd decided not to get this, but now I may have to re-think that decision.
Re: AiRace Jets In on April 12th
I'm hoping for a review soon. I don't have a good racing game (lost mario kart :l) and I'm going on vacation next week.

Re: First Impressions: Super Mario Galaxy 2
SMG 1 was my favorite game on the wii! I'll probably get this for my birthday, as it's coming out around that time
Re: Review: Flipper (DSiWare)
Lol, smits, your comment should be added to the review so no one misses it XD.
I'm considering this game seriously; it looks really unique.

Re: Review: Sudoku 4Pockets (DSiWare)
Sudoku Master is plenty of Sudoku for me, and, though being one of the first, it also seems to be one of the best offerings the store has.
Re: Hudson Bringing Tetris Party Live to DSiWare
YESSSSS!!!!! I LOVE Tertis! This game is long overdue! Insta-Buy!
I actually would've settled for a 200 point copy of the original game, but I have a feeling this will be 500. Either way, though. . .
YESSSSS!!!!!
Re: Mega Man Zero Collection Coming to DS
YES!!! I was thinking about getting one of these games for X-mas, but I'm glad I didn't. This is on my buy list for sure!
Re: Early 2010 WiiWare and DSiWare Lineup
Trajectile!
Re: Look out Europe! Picross 3D Coming to Swallow Up Your Time
I'm still waiting to get Picross 2D. This looks really fun, but I think just getting the 2D one will be good for now.

Re: Review: Reflect Missile (DSiWare)
Mmh. . . I think I'll get this instead of pop + solo.
Hope it comes out soon. Before Christmas when I get a point card.

This is the only Electroplankton DSiWare release that interests me.
