Re: Nintendo Responds To Dispatch Switch Censorship With Official Statement

Why do people still theorize it's the rating boards? It says it on both sides that it's Nintendo who told them to censor it ("Different platforms have different content criteria" and "we inform partners when their titles don’t meet our guidelines"), it's not a rating board problem and Adhoc already said it's because Nintendo is a different platform. The rating boards have their own guidelines.
Do people just not know that Nintendo does this whole "censor your game, or we won't let you release it on our platforms" for a lot of games on Switch? They've been doing this for years.

"The fans [...] will be thrilled by Sonic 4 [...]: there’s no dialogue, no cutscenes and no sidekicks."
Are the fans in the room with us right now?

But really, even Sonic 3 and Knuckles (which I think was one, if not the most popular Sonic game in the fanbase back then) has plenty of cutscenes and a sidekick.
I know that hating Sonic stories and "Sonic's stupid friends" was the most popular game journalist opinion back then, but I will never understand how game reviewers thought "no side characters and no story whatsoever" is what Sonic fans actually wanted out of the franchise at any point. Unless the reviewer was so convinced that their own personal opinions reflected the opinions of most Sonic fans and they were thinking that they could speak on behalf of Sonic fans from around that time...? I really don't get it.
