The Killer7 OST by Masafumi Takada is superb, would legitimately purchase a copy on vinyl if that were possible, there are easily 15 songs on it I absolutely love.
The Golden Sun GBA soundtracks are also gorgeous, particularly impressive given the limits of the system.
Finally, I love bands like the Advantage covering Mega Man tracks, the skill involved in actually playing something like Metal Man or Bubble Man from Mega Man 2 on electric guitar is insane.
Mario 3, Mega Man 2, Batman and Hook are the only games on the NES I still replay. Hook is an underrated oddity of a game, the controls are poor throughout but the map, exploration and key elements are unique on the console.
