Update: Thu 23rd June, 11:45 BST: It's finally here! Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition has launched digitally for the Nintendo Switch, ending the long wait since the game's original planned launch back in 2020.
Now, depending on your region, the game might not quite be live on the eShop just yet, but keep an eye on it over the course of the next few hours and it'll be ready for purchasing in due time.
Remember, if you're looking to bag a physical copy of the game, then pre-orders go live on Limited Run Games' website tomorrow. You can also opt for the Collector's Edition or the Ultimate Edition if you're feeling rather decadent.
We're hoping to have a review of the game soon, but chances are that if you're a fan of Blade Runner, you'll be snapping this one up regardless!

After its initial announcement back in March 2020, excitement for Nightdive Studios' Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition fizzled out when the game was delayed indefinitely later that same year.
Now, over two years later, the game finally looks to be near release, with Limited Run Games announcing a physical edition of the title. Pre-orders will open on June 24th at a price of $34.99. Limited Run's announcement via Twitter mentions both Classic and Ultimate editions of the game, but currently the website only displays the standard version.

Really excited for this one especially. Classic game that I've never played, not too big into point and click adventure games but Ive heard because of how it's structured, moon logic isn't required lmao

Just because the Limited Run pre-order is going up on the 24 June doesnt mean the game will be ready anytime soon.
Limited Run games take months to be made
I hope this comes out in iOS, I like point and click games on the iPad. But I’m tempted to get it for the Switch, be nice on the big screen.

Yes, that's the point of their open pre-order system.
The orders are made to demand, so they don't over-spend on stock that may fail to sell through.
This is a wonderfull game, for both fans of the movies and point and click adventure games and those who like some old school Westwood goodness before EA ate them alive.

I still miss Westwood, they were one of my favourite game developers back in the 90s. Command & Conquer, Blade Runner, Lands of Lore, Legends of Kyrandia, those games were all my jam back then.

I must have missed this announcement because this is the first I've heard of this game. I have Blade Runner on 4K Blu Ray and it's still one of my favourite movies. The intro sequence alone is the best in Science Fiction.

I have heard about this game and wanted to play it for over 20 years. Considering blowing off the dust on my switch. I'll wait for the obligatory performance issues or switch tax before blowing off said dust, but I am hopeful.

First excited, but then let down that it's a lrg release. Shipping is heavily inflated and the cover art (backside and inlay) are usually shoddy. Since I'm in Europe there'll most likely be a physical release from a competent publisher.
Remember watching someone else play this on the PC as a kid and was very fascinated. Can't wait to give it a shot.

Have never been into point and clicks. Myst was pretty cool back in it's day but mostly because we hadn't seen anything so purdy. I prefer the feel of controlling something instead of a interactive Where's Waldo.

Its 10 bucks to buy digitally but $29.99 to buy physical. Unless its got a blu-ray set of classic and new blade runner movies i don't see how its fair price

@KindofaBigDeal True that.. I paid $250 for the Collector's Edition of Clannad and $150 for the limited edition import of World's End Syndrome.
@Ratchet916 The graphics are abysmal to be honest, but I love the movie. I was treated to a Nintendo card for my birthday, it’s quite a low priced game and so I don’t regret buying it. It puts you in the world and so I’m enjoying that part about it at least.

I'm really bummed this is a mess. Honestly if it was a direct port without any changes or enhancements I would I have picked it up.
