Choosing which amiibo you're going to buy when they hit store shelves is just one part of the problem — you've then got to figure out where you're going to store them when you're out and about.
Thankfully, Hori has this all sorted out. Available from December 6th, this handy carry bag from Play-Asia costs $17 / £11 and will keep your figures safe and sound.
Interestingly, the Hori case shows silhouettes of Pikmin and Tom Nook amiibos, as well as alternative poses for existing figures — the same artwork has been used on official amiibo demo pods, as well.
If Hori's option isn't colourful enough for you, then you can pick up a Question Mark block or Mushroom case from Amazon. Whichever one you decide on, there are plenty of amiibo storage options out there.

Largely comes down to how many each case will hold. From the look of that case, it looks like you could fit 4 in that.
Be warned of the question mark block case- it's well made but a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures, and all it is a bag, with no partitions or anything.
It costs the same as an amiibo XD
Hmmm... Look at those printed amiibo icons...
Link's, Mario's and Samus' amiibo are different from the ones that are coming out soon. ALSO.... is there a Tom Nook amiibo? Oh boy..
@PaperLucario amiibo cant be that big xD
there would probably be about 8 max (as i counted) amiibo and the bag are small.
I think the cases are kind of overpriced for what you get. We never needed a case for our Disney Infinity figures so I doubt we'll need this if we decide to get an amiibo.
We got to see some of the Amiibos over the weekend. My kid's instant reaction was positive except for Link. Link is the one figure they don't want. They thought the orange/yellow plastic support made the figure look dumb.
but if i was a collector with amiibo, i'll use this but i only plan to get 1 or 2.
Presenter Mario (Mario Party), RBY Pikmin, Tom Nook, Adult Link (Ocarina of Tme/Majora's Mask pose), Bowser (possibly Paper Bowser), and Samus Aran (Other M combat pose).
Hori knows things, and I wanna know what they know!
Still waiting for a case/box that actually neatly fits all your amiibo and keeps them from sliding around in there. At least for the Smash Bros ones.
Looks like it was originally made for bento.
Not bad i have to many toys to life figures anyway so if i plan to get many of these i have no choice but to buy
Eh I'll just keep them on my shelf anyways.
According to Google Translate, it can three-body housing the body and the contents will use the soft material of brushed system, gently houses the amiibo body!
I only plan on getting Toon Link and maybe only 1 or 2 more down the line, so this case, while nice, isn't needed. I would rather display my amiibos rather than store them in a case.
I want a glass display case to display my collection, although this would suffice for a portable case
@Yosher Probably the best option currently is one of the two Insignia amiibo cases, which have different slots for either 9 or 12 amiibos (depends on which one, they are both the same price tag of $30), they're only at Best Buys however.
Who in their right mind would bring a bunch of plastic nintendo models around them in the first place? Why to they need a tote bag? No mobile device even requires them.
Cool!
I might just stick with the satchel I got from Club Nintendo years ago. Or the bin I keep all my Disney Infinity figures in.
@dkxcalibur I completely agree with your kids. I don't mind the clear plastic on other figures, but I have no idea why Link has orange-yellow plastic support.
Slap the Triforce on that and it will be perfect
I think I'll get one for travel. Other than that mine will be on a shelf.
Amiibo don't really make sense from a travel point of view... Some people here are so confused, they have no idea why you would want to transport "toys" from point a to point b... If only the figures could be easily removed from the base... This way there is no concern of damaging your fig... Also, it would fit in your pocket. Currently the idea of dragging around (potentially rare/limited edition) figures sounds, strange.

Like there was actually a point to use them besides collecting dust on your shelf. I mean - only one game per figure. It's not even a deluxe memory card.
@HappyHappyist the new 3ds is going to use them i think
