Sonic Generations is out in Europe today, and what better way to celebrate than a comic strip explaining the game's story?
Using still shots from the game's rendered intro — only available in the HD version, sadly — the strip sets up exactly why two eras of Sonic find themselves racing through the same stages. It also contains some very finely detailed digital cookies, if that does anything for you.
Expect our Sonic Generations review to come racing past very soon.

...Why not just get the story through the game?
That's the lamest comic I've seen for quite a while
Reminds me of Conker's pocket tales on gbc... Evil acorns: duh-du-duh-dudduu
I like this villain.
He throwsSonic's crappy friends away ASAP.
That was really. Really. REALLY bad.
That...........................................................................................
was truly the greatest thing I've ever read.
This is teh only thing dat I will say enjoy...

Finely detailed digital cookies are what make my life worth living.
"They are thrown into another dimensions."
Guess this wasn't worth a spelling and grammar check.
They didn't waste any time getting the story rolling. Screw the cake and punch and get straight to the action!
