Those are some of my favourite games of the past. Does anybody know why they aren't on the vc yet??? I'm sure they would sell amazing.

I would download both as soon as they are available.

Turtles in Time was, and is, awesome. Perhaps it'll come after 2 & 3 have been released. And as for when 2 will arrive; it's all in Konami's hands, now. Perhaps someday we'll be given a sign.

To each their own

I want those.

What with the first there you'd think it would be here.

Patience, young grasshopper. TMNT2 and Turtles in Time will arrive someday. And I concur: you'd at least expect more TMNT titles after the first NES game is available. Funny how some things work, huh?

If you really like the turtles, TMNT smash up is a really cool fighter. Its like brawl, but pretty different too

Yes it is

I hope they skip NES versions (except the III) and bring us the 4 player action in VC arcade.

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

I guess that legal stuff is getting in the way. I wouldn't mind the NES version but of course the VCA is more appreciated

Doesn't Ubisoft own the Ninja Turtles license for making games, and Konami has to get permission from them to release them?

Jesus is the only way.
It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know.

Yes. That's why the TMNT1 NES game was very expensive.

They are indeed possible, however, it is questionable, due to licensing issues. It's helped by the original release, but it is not guarantee. We are most likely to see the 2nd TMNT game, since it once had an ESRB rating.

It's a shame Konami no longer owns the Ninja Turtle license, but still, Ubisoft have always been big Wii supporters, so there's no reason Konami couldn't easily acquire the license for the remaining games.

@Vio: I do agree, the TMNT franchise is most likely non-Lucasarts game with licensing to appear on the Virtual Console. We already have the original.

I'd snatch up The Arcade Game in a heartbeat. Played that quite a lot as a kid. Love the special moves.

For anyone wanting a TMNT beat 'em up, I recommend the 2003 Gamecube game.

Why not TMNT rebirth?

You can technically get both 4 player arcade games on the Wii by buing the TMNT GameCube games, where they were unlockables. Only problem is the music is different - which is a bit off putting.

I predict we will see the arcade version of the first game appear on VC arcade at some point. I think it is licensing issues that is the problem at the moment. The NES game just requires the TMNT licence from Mirage Studios (I think that's what it's called) however the arcade game also needs the license from Fox Entertainment for the TV show theme tune and Turtle's voices.

Apparently Rebirth is garbage. We're much better off getting the classic games.
