Just wondered if I was the only one with this. Went to watch the Super Mario Galaxy trailer on the Nintendo Channel, and every time, without fail, it completely crashes the Wii at 1:06 and makes a loud constant tone (from the TV speakers). Nothing on the Wiimote responds (but it remains lit), and I have to turn the Wii off completely (as in, hold down the power button on the console for about 5 seconds) to get rid of it. It's happened 3 times now, on all 3 times I've tried it, any of you guys got the same problem? Doesn't seem to happen on any other videos. (I'm in the UK on a PAL Wii, btw)
I've had that! I tried it a couple of times and came to the conclusion that it had to be the video. Haven't tried any other videos but I wouldn't expect that any more than the SMG2 trailer does it.
Yes, same here on a PAL Wii. It happened earlier today as I was watching the Mario Galaxy 2 trailer. It crashed at the same point IIRC. Nintendo really need to fix this.
A while back, every time I tried to watch the Phoenix Wright WW video, it crashed at the same time every time I tried... It worked the next day though.

Reminds me to when they uploaded a video where the video ran faster than the sound. (German Nintendo Channel) Nintendo Channel also crashed a few times here, don't remember on which videos.

I've had it happen a few times to me, and it happened on Pheonix wright. I wonder what is going on? edit it happened to me the week pheonix was released on wiiware, so that was a while ago

Happened to me at the middle of the Nintendo Week episode of march 22nd, but thats it...i forgot to report it or at least say something about it.
I have also noticed this on my german Wii. Somtimes, especially when watching the "News mit Ariane", the sound is totally out of sync. And sometimes the Wii crashes while playing these videos. And I always hear some strange crackling in the background. I first thought my Wii was broken but in all other games the sound is fine. The only problem seems to be the Nintendo Channel.
