I'm probably not willing to pay THIRTY SIX DOLLARS!!!! for all 3 versions, but the concept actually looked pretty cool, and I was hoping that this would be my first foray into the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series (explorers of time/darkness/sky looked kinda hokey)...
But it's been FOREVER! Where's the love Nintendo?
EDIT: Or Europe for that matter...gotta show the love for my peeps in the EU
I'm wondering the same. I don't even know what the point of having three versions is. As far as I know, it's not a Pokemon-catching game but just a standard dungeon crawler with Pokemon flavor in which you become one Pokemon only. Right? I'd like to get one of them, though. It'd be great to have a dungeon crawler on my Wii menu.
Shiren the Wanderer has been fun, but now that I played it twice, the post-game dungeons aren't entertaining long enough to warrant putting the disc in often.
I'd guess we'll see them at some point over the summer. They just seem like decent filler titles, after they've run through the current assortment of larger WiiWare titles. I'd be surprised if they didn't get a Western release eventually, since all of the prior PMD installments have done fairly well, as have the other Pokemon WiiWare games.
I like this spin-off series. I would get one of them.
By the way, you do get to collect the different Pokémon by occansionally recruiting defeated foes to your rescue/exploration/whatever team like you do in Pokémon Rumble.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

THREE VERSIONS FOR 36 $ is better than ONE VERSION FOR 40 $ like the DS and GBA games.
I have been a fan of the Mystery Dungeon series for a long time, starting with Chocobo's Dungeon 2 for the PS1 and eventually going back and playing Shiren for SFC. I didn't even know about WiiWare versions of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but I hope they'll come out, doesn't matter to me, I'll buy them all. I liked Pokemon Rumble, but that game wasn't really the same.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
