Topic: Cave Story SOON!

I was surfing along on gamespot (Don't ask, I was there to check when you unlocked a new rank in KH 358/2. it was unhelpful as always)
and watched their TOTS and they interviewed nicalis and they said that cave story would be here withing the month Just passing the info along

I remember the creator said that he would be offering an exclusive interview on the Nintendo Channel. I hope the game is eventually released.

Caves looks great there, I'm very excited for it now, very reminiscent of some of the C64 games I used to play as a kid.

OT but New Mario looks hells awesome there, had been turned off it but now I'm interested again. I just bought a PS3 but it looks like my Wii is still going to get some love this winter.

I see next week being Cave Story while the last monday in October being the perfect day to release Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth (correct name?)

I hate to watch all of you so excited about this game. As I stated a while back in the forums... CAVE STORY IS NOT COMING TO WII WARE! It has been cancelled for wii and will instead be going to PS3 or 360.

I hate to break the news to you, but I spoke to Tyrone at Nicalis night before last and he said it's in Nintendo Lotcheck. So not much longer.

It's like the trolls aren't even trying anymore. It's such a subtle art when done right. It makes me sad to see such pathetic attempts like this post.

Lotcheck is where games must go to be approved by Nintendo for release.

Ohhh, I completely missed the context there, haha. Took me awhile even after you pointed out. I must be tired.

Lotcheck only means that the game has met approval of consideration. It does not mean the game WILL be released. There have been many games that have gone to lotcheck that have not been released

Also, Buffalobob, no, they have not been saying that since last year. It first went to lotcheck a month or two ago.
