I highly recommend Edge (even tho it's gone up from $1.99 to $3.99) and Castle Storm.....

That DLC for Castlestorm is totally worth it if anyone is on the fence. New campaign and a new hero and faction for skirmish & multi-player, been playing since yesterday solo, going to try local multi with the new faction on the weekend.

I am really enjoying CastleStorm. The Gameplay works so well on the touch acreen. The GamePad helps make CastleStorm as much fum as it is. I wish I had more time to check out the online stuff but I would recommend CastleStorm even without experiencing the online modes

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Castle Storm rocks. The initial game has lots of content. I'm not done with it yet, but I downloaded the next two campaigns BC I like it that much.

I also downloaded the new Star Wars tables and recommend them too. They aren't as good as the first table on the original one, but still very good. Zen is a great developer.

Unepic or Pure Chess? Kinda leaning towards Unepic but online Chess could be awesome

EDIT: Nevermind, I went for both lol

I picked up the next three tables for Star Wars....I think they are awesome. If you are considering getting them- get them. They might not be as good as the first table on the first series (which I think is by far the best one), but they are all pretty cool and better than the other two on the fist series.

How about the Mega man games.

Megaman X is on the virtual console, and it's like one of the most radical games ever made ; highly recomended if you never played it.

I'm yet to play a 2d metroid game and I'm planning on picking one up. With Metroid Fusion releasing this Thursday on the Wii U VC in my region, I need to make a choice between Fusion and Super Metroid. Any suggestions as which one I should start with?

Thanks in advance

My first Metroid was Fusion. I have gone back and played Super, but still haven't finished it. I think Fusion is a great starting point as it holds your hand enough to understand the game but still gives you a sense of exploration. I think you are going to hear a lot of people say Super is better, and I would agree, but if I hadn't played Fusion I probably would have been lost in Super.

I've heard people say that Fusion is their favorite Metroid game, but many revere Super Metroid. I plan on picking Fusion up first out of all the GBA VC titles. I really hope it's good because after playing the first Metroid again it left a fowl taste in my mouth, yet I still like the memories I have playing as a child. I never played Super Metroid, but honestly I think Fusion looks like the better game. I'm waiting for Super Metroid to go on sale.. I feel it's inevitable.

Fusion is pretty awesome, but it depends on how much you're ok with more linear gameplay and the infamous CO of the game.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

@DefHalan, @Spuratis, @kkslider5552000 - Thanks for your response.
I'll go with Fusion first and tackle Super Metroid later. I'm very happy about GBA games coming to the Wii U since I never played them back in the day.

Balloon Fight is great fun for a 2 player co-op.

Technically it's not multiplayer, but NES REMIX is played in short bursts and can be passed around for each challenge.

I have $20 dollars to spend. What are the best Wii U eshop/ virtual console games for this price (or less).

I'd say Earthbound and A Link to the Past which are both Virtual Console games. I think Earthbound comes in at $10 while LttP is $8
