I always get a kick out of these topics where people post their game systems and gaming rigs, so post your classic game systems if you've got them. I wanna see some cooll stuff!
Here's mine...
Since some have emailed me asking what consoles are in the photo, here goes: JVC X'Eye (Genesis and Sega CD combo unit), white import Sega Saturn, red Sharp Twin Famicom (Famicom/Disk System combo unit), PC Engine CoreGrafx 2 w/Super CD-Rom attachment, and a Super Famicom system below it.
Below is my really old school rig. These are pre-1985 systems: Colecovision, Intellivision, Atari 2600, Odyssey 2, and Atari XEGS. I cut the Vectrex out of the pic, sorry.
Nice white Saturn there, Corbie! I've not really got the room to have everything connected to a TV at the moment - Just a Wii, X-box, Saturn (favourite console ever) and Megadrive which doesnt look that flash!
If I weren't building a house I might have something to show but everything is in boxes. I mostly have Nintendo stuff, I've had other stuff but it doesn't seem to hold any value for me and I just get rid of it while I've kept my Nintendo systems and bought more of them.
edit: I just noticed that YARS Revenge poster. That's awesome. I picked up the game for the Atari 2600 just because I like the name so much.
Neat! I took some pictures (with my video camera, on the "Camera" setting) of the retro gaming consoles that I own:
Sorry about this one being blurry, it was hard to hold still while holding it; I do have a tripod, but it can't go down that far. Anyway, there's the GameCube (with the Game Boy Player attached to the bottom of the console) on the top shelf, the NES console with the game Track & Field (good ol' Track & Field) in the bottom shelf, and on the ground there's my SNES console with the game The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt on it.
Here's the small-modeled white PlayStation console I've had since after I moved here. Since my old big-modeled gray PAL PlayStation console could not play on my NTSC TV, it was a problem since the vast majority of my PlayStation collection was PAL, so we got the NTSC one (but, back when we still lived in Italy, my dad had some cables that allowed me to play both NTSC and PAL PlayStation titles, as I had a few NTSC games back then; like, Tarzan and Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time). The same cables could not work here in America, unfortunately. I play with the PlayStation sometimes.
Not really necessary, I'm sure, but I decided to share my SNES collection, too; I apologize ahead of time if you cannot read the title of any one of these games (it's hard taking pictures like these without holding still):
Top: An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, Arcana, Brain Lord; Bottom: Cool Spot, Disney's Aladdin, Donkey Kong Country
Top: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, Equinox: Solstice II, Hook; Bottom: Illusion of Gaia, The Lost Vikings, Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow
Top: Mr. Nutz, Plok, Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday; Bottom: SoulBlazer, Super Adventure Island, Super Mario All-Stars
Center: Super Game Boy; Top: Super Mario World, Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!, Toy Story; Bottom: Virtual Bart, Ys III: Wanderers from Ys
I've also decided to take another picture, too. Say "Hello" to my gaming chair:
That is a really cool photo you've taken of your retro consoles, Corbie.
@StarBoy I'm jealous you still have your Super GameBoy. My mom got rid of all my old SNES stuff, so I've had to rebuy everything.
I'll post a video of my collection on here soon. It's been too long since I've had an update. I post my VG collection every now and then on YouTube. Until then, this low-quality picture will do. It doesn't actually show any systems, but you can gather which ones I have by the games shown.
Thanks, Corbie. I hope the titles on the SNES cartridges were readable considering the way the photos came out. If not, I'll type down the names on my earlier post. EDIT: I did it just now [around noon], just in case. I'm curious as to whether anyone else on NintendoLife besides myself has played An American Tail: Fievel Goes West on the SNES or not. It's a rather obscure movie-based title.
And here we are: [youtube:dvUnX0q3VjQ] ^^ That's the most recent video (in fact, I just uploaded it 10 minutes ago), but the last video I made really shows off my gaming area in my room. I have a link to it in that video, but I don't think annotations show up in these forums.
Awesome collections StarBoy and grensworthshero. Since we're posting game collections too, I'll put up some photos since I have all of my games still on the shelf or in boxes I have easy access to. Charging up my camera's battery now.
I'll post my old consoles too but they'll be in boxes, surrounded by wires and not hooked up to a TV.
My collection is going to be a little different since I wasn't a Nintendo fan as a kid.
Okay, my game collection. This is everything from the Playstation onwards, mind you. My NES, Mega Drive, Saturn, GB and GBC games are all packed away somewhere. If someday I can muster up the courage to delve into the storeroom, I'll get them out and take some pictures.
Click the thumbnails for a highly zoomed-in view. You should be able to read the game boxes if you zoom in.
Recent PC Games - I have a heck of a lot more PC games than this, but these are mostly fairly recent purchases. Yes... two copies of the doomed Hellgate London...
DS Game Collection - Pretty sure this is everything I own. OFFER $10.00 for The Dark Spire haha. A mix of NA and EU games here, as you can tell from the differently-coloured boxes. Also, some Japanese music CDs and Naruto's wallet lol. The Japanese boxes are Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) 1-3.
Some Wii Games - The Sakura Wars game is a limited PS2 edition with a Japanese voice-over disc. <3
Wii and PS2 Games, Part 1 - Japanese titles L to R: DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou, Gradius V
PS2 Games, Part 2 - Japanese titles L to R: Gradius V, ESPGaluda
PS2 Games, Part 3 - Japanese titles L to R: ESPGaluda, Thunder Force VI, Melty Blood: Actress Again Limited Edition
Xbox Games, lol - I have a few more than this somewhere. My Xbox is packed away though. Notice the Chinese names on the spines. Yay for the Asian region messing up my labels.
Dreamcast, R.I.P. - Packed in a box with controllers and wires all over the place. It's not been treated bad, really! It really yellowed in the box though. :C
Xbox Underneath the Dreamcast, lol - It's HUMONGOUS! Ah, good times.
Playstation, Dreamcast and Saturn Games, Part 1 - Yes, that copy of Chrono Cross is in wrapping and brand new. <3 Also, more anime box sets. Note: Most of my Playstation games are pirated. Meh.
Playstation, Dreamcast and Saturn Games, Part 2
BONUS ROUND I: Anime, Manga and Comics! - I have so many anime DVDs that I didn't want to disturb them. I might cause an avalanche if I do. Just rest assured that there are more behind those outward-facing ones.
BONUS ROUND II: o hai wat r u lookin at
BONUS ROUND III: get dat camera out of mai face k
And after seeing everyone else's rigs so far, I'm highly tempted to hook up my NES, Genesis, Saturn and PSOne to my TV if it can fit all of them.
Nice game collection HolyMackerel. I'd like to start working on my Sega collection next, but I've been wanting a PS3 for a while now, so that's probably going to be my next purchase.
Oh God. I love this topic so much. As soon as I get back home from my parents' house I'll post some of my stuff. I've got some cool retro gaming stuff lying around.

I co-host a podcast about professional wrestling titled Blind Tag and I write/draw a daily webcomic about a werewolf in high school named Duane.
I am ashamed that I dont own as many games as you guys do. The minute I reach adulthood, Im gonna go out and buy every videogame I can get my hands on.
@StarBoy Yeah I really enjoyed Croc. Classic 3D platformer. I have the Saturn version by the way, not sure if it's any different from the Playstation one. Don't think so.
@Gamesake lol Yeah. I'm nowhere near that bad - or bad at all, really. It's just that these are close-up shots so I could get details on game labels and stuff. My house actually has plenty of free space and the Dreamcast/Xbox are neatly packed away under the stairs along with some other things like Christmas decorations (all up now) and old files, diskettes and CDs. Besides, I wouldn't part with my classic games or game systems ever. I'd be wasting my money since I'd just buy them again later at far higher prices than I originally got them. I do play them every so often.
Props on the Goof Troop in the box and Wayne Gretzky N64, grenworthshero!
Haha, yeah, I got lucky, I found Goof Troop at Half-Price Books a few months ago, still in its box, in excellent shape. I played that at my friend's house as a kid and I liked it a lot. I still have the original box for most of my N64 games, including Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey.
