Topic: Your Top 10 Most Played Switch Games

Not necessarily your favorite games, just the ones on Switch you've spent the most time playing.

Note there was an identical locked 2019 thread. I suspect people's lists have changed since 2019 (almost none of my most played even existed in 2019).

Alrighty here’s my top ten:

2. Splatoon 3 170 hours
3. Minecraft 160 hours ( I have 3000 more on Java edition lol)
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 130 hours
5. Super Smash Bros Ultimate 120 hours
6. Among Us 75 hours (embarrassing lol, and 75 more on mobile)
7. Zelda BOTW 70 hours
8. Xenoblade 3 65 hours (I just got)
9. TOTK 65 hours
10. Pokemon Violet 60 hours (getting rid of because glitchy mess)

Mine is borked because Nintendo are useless at account systems. So I'm gonna post what my main Switch says is my top 10, but I know that it's not.

But without question, Breath Of The Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and FIFA 18 should be towards the top of my list. I think Breath Of The Wild should actually be #1 and FIFA 18 should be #2.

@Nintoz On your switch if you go all the way to the right to see all the games you have played you can sort it to most played so thats what I assume we are supposed to do lol.

1: Minecraft, 435 Hours (I play mostly the online servers)
2: Rocket League, 255 Hours (I used to play this game alot but have since stopped)
3: Splatoon 3, 250 Hours (Used to play alot but have since stopped bc I got bored)
4: Animal Crossing, 155 Hours (I went from hater to I want a new game so I can play when the hype is up)
5: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, 70 Hours (Fun game)
6: Mario Odyssey, I think like 55 Hours (1st game I got)
7: SNES online, 40 Hours (Earthbound and Mario 3)
8: Lego City Undercover, 40 Hours (fun game to play alone and with friends)
9: Mario and Rabbids Kingdom battle, idk how many hours (fun game)
10: Pikmin 4, 35 Hours (1st Pikmin Game i have owned, super fun)

@Nintoz No problem, the only problem is if you havent played the games in a while you cant see how long you have played lol.

Technically my most played game would be Smash Ultimate with 1075 hours but I don't have it anymore.

3) Splatoon 3 135 hours
4) Ringfit Adventure 125 hours (Proud of this one!)
5/6) POKEMON Sword/Splatoon 2 120 hours
7) Super Smash Bros Ultimate 110 hours
8) Fire Emblen Three Houses 90 hours
9/10) Mario Kart 8/Tears of the Kingom 85 hours (I've stopped playing MK but I'm still playing TotK, so I imagine Zelda will climb this list as time goes on.)

It's not easy to track these if you've changed Switches like I have (got an OLED Switch last year to replace the standard one), since for some reason they're tied to your console and not your to NSO account, so the hour count goes back to zero with a new console. But based on what I remember from the old Switch, I think this is my top 10:

1. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
2. No Man's Sky
3. Xenoblade Chronicles 1
4. Breath of the Wild
5. Octopath Traveller
6. Tears of the Kingdom
7. Nier: Automata
8. Triangle Strategy
9. Monster Hunter Stories 2

Right now my top 3 includes "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" and "Animal Crossing: New Horizons".

@OctolingKing13 Well, to put it simply I used to play it very competitively and as time went on I grew to dislike it.

Always a big fan of tracking my playtimes so I know pretty much all of these off the top of my head XD

If you want to get technical the Ace Attorney Turnabout Collection bundle and SNES NSO would also qualify for this list (at 176 hours and 135 hours respectively), but given how the former is just an eShop bundle of two separate games and the latter is an application filled with a ton of different games, I thought it'd be best to leave them off.

I've noticed that if you sort your games by most played it seems to forget some of the time after a few years. I know I've played Arms for about 80 hours, which is more than most of my Switch games, but most of that was in 2017/18 and since then it's slid quite far down the list somehow. Plus my brother used to share my Switch and the list isn't user-specific, and most of my most played games are not in my most recent 20 so I can't see the exact hours. So this is difficult to answer without a proper activity log like on 3DS, but off the top of my head it's something like this:

1. Splatoon 2 (170-ish hours)
2. Tears of the Kingdom (125)
3. Super Smash Bros Ultimate (110)
4. Animal Crossing: New Horizons (110)
5. Arms (80)
6. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (80)
7. Splatoon 3 (70)
8. Pokemon Shield (about 70 I think)
9. Fire Emblem: Three Houses (70)
10. Super Mario Odyssey (55, according to my post in the previous thread)

@Dogorilla I think it's because it only stores the last 15 or so games you've played. If you play Arms again I think it will come back.
