Topic: What are some of you fave Strategy games on the switch?

I think Fire Emblem is something of a given now. But the switch does have a few strategy titles outside of that and I wanted to know what people are playing.

Personally I still enjoy playing Advance Wars ReBoot Camp, Brigandine Runersia and the old school Nobunaga's Ambition on the SNES NSO.

How about you?

I picked this up after an indie World four years ago. It's one of my favourites.

@PsychoIsaac Into the Breach for turn based and Unicorn Overlord that lets one customize rules for your troops that end up being real time strategic and tactics that you can pause at any time and go back to turn based. It’s kind of a relief to not micromanage your troops to sort of kite the enemies into advancing within range that so many pure turn based games morph into in my experience (advance wars and Disgaea for example ). Though if you like turn based several Disgaea games are great at this and grinding though they kind of lost me with 6 I think where you were expected to program your troops and let the game auto play for hours to grind to level 999(not a misprint).also I think 6 was their first 3d game and it kind of lost the charm of the 2d poster art that was rotated for simulated 3d in earlier iterations IMHO. Also it’s a visual novel but The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy has turn based combat though after the first 50 or so storylines I started letting combat auto finish if I already completed a battle in a prior timeline.

It's a town builder / roguelite / strategy game, but Against the Storm has been awesome for as little as I've played it. There's also the usual recommendations like Final Fantasy Tactics and Triangle Strategy. Valkyria Chronicles 1 & 4 are great. Those are my favorite, but the choices you have in the genre is pretty deep on Switch.
