I really want to try Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission
@Cissero When the Switch was first shown, one of my first thoughts was "This will be the perfect system for virtual console! Better than 3DS or Wii U ever could be!" for that very reason. The idea of having everyone on one device, with native TV support, and full portability was like a dream come true.
Since they are not bringing VC to Switch (still a terrible decision!) I am going to keep asking for more from NSO.
I think Nintendo should offer package deals for NSO: The base package, one retro system, cloud saves and online services, like it is now, 20 bucks a year. But we could choose a system from the retro list: NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBC and GBA. For a set price you can add additional systems, or pay like 60-75 bucks a years and get everything! Treating it like a retro Netflix.

The question is why is Nintendo only putting NES games on NSO? Why not launch it with several retro systems games including GBA from the start? Why did they decide not to do VC for Switch? It would be nice if they could tell us.
@Heavyarms55 This sounds like a perfect option t.b.h.
like this Nintendo would earn their investment back and the fans would be satisfied. I would definetely pay 20 euro's on top of the current 20 just for GBA & GBC access.
Is there any info on why they ended up deciding not to implement VC in the switch?
A proud Switch owner that's always working on the impossible mission of clearing his backlog.
@Cissero Officially? No. Just that they aren't doing it. The reasons I see people talking about most often - some people claim it would take too much effort, some people suggest that VC being on a system hurts indie developers and even more conventional new releases, but as far as I know, they gave no official reason.
@Heavyarms55 Thanks for the answer I can imagine that the effort and sales aspects play a big role. Still sad, as it would be an amazing addition haha.
I needed Kuru Kuru Kururin on my Switch, like yesterday.
Why Nintendo so messed up when it comes to back catalogue? How is GBA not a priority for Switch? Which one of the suits over there was like: let’s not do anything about GBA for years into the future... ?
Anything that's not NES games for the nth time would be welcome at this point.

@Manah agreed. I don't think I will renew for online play. I barely use it.
