Yesterday I was scrolling through the Nintendo Switch's settings, just because I was bored. When I opened the formatting option I noticed the suboption 'Clear Cache'. The description states that you can "Delete a user's saved IDs and passwords, cookies, browsing history and other cached website data.". I don't have a screenshot or a picture, but you can just look it up yourself.
Is this a sign that an internet browser will come to the Switch in the not too distant future? Or is this an option that has been there for a long time that I was just unaware of? I'm really wondering because I haven't seen someone comment this on this forum.
Possibly. I dread to think of how bad a browser would be though - has there ever been a decent browser on any console? Any one I’ve ever used has been the internet equivalent of trying to eat pizza through a straw...
Still , if others are excited then fingers crossed for them; touch controls might make it not terrible?
It could be, but I'd assume it's just standard warnings. Or maybe because of Facebook/Twitter linkage, and using the 'browser' that pops up for wifi spots that require an 'I agree' check.

Good find. It could be related to a browser. Could it also be related to the eShop, though, since there is a search feature on there?
I'd personally rather have Netflix than a browser. Mainly since I am watching through Supernatural right now. A headphone jack on the pro controller would be nice as well...
