Just played through the demo on Switch 2 in handheld. Felt really good and quite a novel idea. Will try on PS5 as well before deciding which to buy but so far I'm impressed with what Capcom have pulled off on Switch 2.

It’s been a while since the demo of an AAA title convinced me to pick it up but had an absolute blast with this demo. And the game runs wayy better than I thought it would.

Initially I saw this and thought being Japanese I probably wouldn't like the gameplay mechanics of it but the more I watched the videos the more I liked it so will definitely be getting the demo and then possibly moving to a purchase. I'm really impressed with the Switch 2 graphics and frame rate. Yes its cut down but those cutbacks I personally don't care about like the hair etc. It still feels completely like the full game is there and you are only sacrificing minor levels of graphic fidelity.

I have a mixed experience with Capcom games, back in the day I absolutely adored the Street fighter games and couldn't get enough of them, the Resident Evil games I generally enjoyed but have more recently lost interest in them and never liked the monster hunter games at all, I hated them to be honest, just didn't' enjoy playing them at all.

I played the demo last night and I gotta say, I'm pretty excited for this one...just not on Switch 2. Firstly, gameplay is great, I love the hacking aspect and I have a feeling the dynamic between Hugh and Diana is going to make me cry.

I admire the effort to keep this game at 60 FPS and it's a solid port all things considered, but it's just too blurry for me, especially in Handheld. I think DLSS is being required to do too much heavy lifting here. I really wish they included a 30 FPS quality mode or a 40FPS mode so we could get comparable fidelity to other platforms. As is, I'll likely pick this up on PC instead.
