@kkslider5552000 somehow, it's currently #1 best selling on the eshop, beating out the other major switch 1 seller, tomodachi life. for the first surge in sales of dread in likely ages, it's one hell of a surge! also, correct me if i'm wrong, even the gameplay itself in ravenous seems to have more cinematic camera angles, so it's not just a cutscene focus.

@kkslider5552000 So because the indie scene has a dime a dozen cheap titles in the genre, Metroid can't have a big budget high quality release at a higher price?

@metaphysician i think you misunderstood the point of that post. it wasn't to compare japan and the u.s., it was to compare the views between the dread and ravenous trailers. i just also happened to make the same comparison for the japanese trailers because i found it interesting there was still a bump despite metroid never ever doing well in japan.

@Haruki_NLI I mean it can. I think it will be worth the money, possibly even at 70 instead of 60 like last time.

I also thought the Advance Wars remakes were absolutely worth it, how'd that go for that release? I'm dead certain there is a significant portion of people who would want to play a modern Metroid of this quality but won't precisely because of the price. Whether that's "fair" is irrelevant.
