I read some disturbing issues regarding the autosave where it overwrites your manual save. Some players had to restart a chapter from the beginning due to failing an objective and the autosave deleted the manual save from where they could pick up much further prior to messing up.

Anyone else had this issue? Do you think there will be a patch soon to address this? I’m only at the very beginning of the game and would not want hours of progress deleted due to the issue some players noted with the autosave.

@Don I have already had this issue especially with paralogues in chapter 10 cais route, for example Bertrands side quest has a tight deadline only a few days it lasts and then its gone, I missed it and then the autosave saved my progress so I had to restart the chapter.

Xenoblade, Trails/Kiseki, Ys, Persona, Fire emblem, Tales and square enix jrpgs.
