for now, anyways. look, the dk update is still real i swear y'all–
with this drop of 26 tracks, we have hit 227/227, or 100% of all free roam tracks! this is a 11.45% increase, which is 3.52% more (or ~44.39% bigger) than the previous drop.

aaaand that's it! sorry for any lovelies who liked seeing me do random numbers junk, i'm not sure i'll have many opportunities to do that in the future... besides the occasional spreadsheet because i get bored.

At long last I have Mario Kart Eight Deluxe's Rainbow Road, as covered by the Mario Kart World Team, and therefore basically completing my Prismatic Path Playlist.

With the latest (and probably final) additions to Mario Kart World, it now has the longest soundtrack of them all on Nintendo Music, with a whopping 14 hours and 15 minutes of music without extensions. That is 20 minutes longer than the previous record holder, the Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which clocked up 13 hours and 55 minutes.

I'm not sure if there are existing soundtracks that can top MKW. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 arrived in a 9 CD box, but I think even that is less than what MKW offers.

It does, and I'm quite glad they used that seeing as it was one of the few shots exclusively used for NSO icons so all we had of it previously was an extremely cropped 256x256 square.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack is just a little under 9 hours in total, so not quite lol.
