Topic: What influenced your username?

What inspired me for mine was the nickname of that "Sadman" guy

I always did run that bit of his song in my head when reading your name.

A combination of ideal circumstance, saying something stupid in front of a group of people, and an attempt to defend said stupid phrase, resulting in an even more idiotic sequence of verbalrhea and agreement that I'd wear said phrase as scarlet-letter shame for a while due to my solitary role in its genesis. Of course, said group of friends has grown rather fond of said phrase as I secretly knew would happen. It's rough having such a heavy hand in trend creation.

My avatar is taken from The Dark Spire for the DS because I have a soft spot for my DS, retro games, and RPGs.
With regards to my username, I definitely am not the first to come up with this play on words. But when I first thought of "Daze of the Weak" it conjured up this obviously imaginary scenario:

If the minds behind Pink Floyd, The Doors, Black Sabbath, and numerous other psychedelic 70s rock bands were to hope in a couple DeLoreans and meet up with me, Wolfmother, The White Stripes, & The Mars Volta, and then decide: "Let's make the best album ever", the name of that band would be: Daze of the Weak.

The name would represent how the face-melting guitar riffs would stun the untalented competition.

I don't know.

I would buy several hundred thousand copies of that album, so that i could have it play wherever i went in the world.

It was an ironic title given to a character I was creating, by his team mates (storyline wise).

My name is Matt and I had a cousin who started calling me Splat (Why? I don't know) soon other people started to as well and there you have it.

There was a really stupid Snapple commercial where a board room is trying to find a new slogan for their product and someone says "stuffy stuff" and it was so dumb I figured it would be a good name.

Tasuki is my favorite character from the anime Fushigi Yuugi. So thats about it nothing more to it than that lol.
