I just got a new Gaming set up and I wanna know if there's anything else I need to do now or stuff to add, I already added steam, my google account and other necessities but I'm not sure what else to add. Talk about what your gaming set up is like, give advice, what to watch out for, and anything else relating to your set up, Nintendo or other wise!
Current consoles (and PS3) are connected to the main TV with surround sound coming from an old-ish Sony AV Amp (and even older speakers). Everything that has an internet connection is wired - only my phone connects to my Wi-Fi at home. I recently moved to a place that has all the rooms wired for ethernet, so I managed to get rid of all the Powerline adaptors I was using for wired connections and plug straight into the connectors on the wall.
Retro stuff (pre-HDMI) is still sitting in place ready to be connected up again, as I haven't had time to sort it out after I moved. They'll all be hooked up via a Kramer scaler/switcher so there's an easy single connection to a screen - I still haven't decided whether I'll connect to one of my PC monitors, like I had before the move, or if I'll connect to the TV.
