Whose your favourite 3rd Party Game's Developer?

basically anyone else I either haven't played enough games from or can make both great and bad games

if I was more of a fan of the new Prince of Persias or Farcry sequels I might have put Ubisoft Montreal up there. Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell!

I would say Capcom but their recent courses of action have changed my mind.

I'd probably say at the moment it would be Popcap. Popcap always releases quality, fun games that can be picked up and played by anybody at any time of the day. They've never lost sight of their fanbase and they've never released a game that deserved anything less than an 8/10.

I also haven't played a Square Enix game I've enjoyed since Final Fantasy IX was released.

as someone who loves to hate Square Enix nowadays, have you played FFTA, TWEWY, recent Dragon Quest games, the orignal 2 Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia FF, maybe even FFXII?

I never said I hated Square Enix. I just said I don't enjoy their recent games along with how much I don't enjoy Capcom's recent actions but I don't hate them

Didn't enjoy FFXII, the newer DQ games aren't really my cup of tea, I'd prefer FF Tactics for the PS1, never played TWEWY, played a demo of Dissidia and it didn't seem like something I'd like. I guess the first Kingdom Hearts was pretty good, though. :3

I honestly don't play a lot of 3rd-party games.

What have they screwed up? Please inform me as I can't see anything.

Publisher? ...probably Namco Bandai(shockingly enough).

I think kkslider was saying he is someone who loves to hate Square Enix, and was recommending games.

Bricking the PC version of Street Fighter 4, DRM policies that neglect the paying consumer (something Ubisoft is also guilty of), their constant re-hashing of Street Fighter 4 (all that stuff could have easily been DLC), their "reimagining" of Devil May Cry, the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man Universe, they fired Keji Inafune, Dark Void (PS3/X360), Bionic Commando (PS3/X360).

OH Oh oh! I bet I know why! Mega Man Legends 3 cancellation!

Capcom becoming self-parody with its greediness and seemingly doing everything they can to make fans of most of their series hate them like it's Sega and Capcom's PR and blatant lies making everyone so much more reluctant to try to justify it.

I've also realized that the real sad part is that refusing to buy Capcom games I wasn't 100% going to buy no matter what just means there is 1 Capcom game I want instead of 2.
