Topic: DC White Lantern Corps

Many of you maybe unfamiliar with the White Lanterns of DC. The White Lantern Corps are one of the many different versions of the Green Lantern Corps. There are the Green Lantern Corps of will, the Sinestro (Yellow) Corps of fear, the Red Lantern Corps of rage, the Blue Lantern Corps of hope, the Indigo Lantern Corps of compassion, the Orange Lantern Corps of greed, the Violet Lantern Corps of love, the Black Lantern Corps of death, and the White Lantern Corps of life. I am hoping to know about what does it take to become a White Lantern? I know their thing is life, but then again their evil. They have the power to resurrect the dead, so maybe the desires of destruction and conquest? Or maybe desperation for power or life. I don't know what it takes to become part of the White Lantern Corps, so I would appreciate answers. If the White Lantern Corps really are evil, then I would like to know what fuels them. Thanks.

I do believe that here people may know a thing or two about this.

-To gain the power of the whit Lantern Corp you must either do two things.
-Be chosen by the Entity like Swamp Thing was in Brightest Day
-Master every other Ring Spectrum like Kyle Rayner has done in the current GL comics.
-We haven't really seen the current white lantern do anything evil and the white Lantern is kind of a person who does stuff on his own, but the current is allied with the Green Lanterns.
-The White Lantern can raise the dead (with the expection of Black Lanterns and Mass death) as well use the powers of every type of ring expect black.
-Not sure the White Lantern can be evil but the process to become one is similar to becoming the Avatar from last airbender.

Thanks guys, it makes since now. The White Lantern Corps really is very powerful. I guess that once someone has the power of all rings and becomes part of the White Lantern Corps, he/she can decide to use that power for good or evil. Interesting... The Black Lantern Corps must be a major threat to the White Lantern Corps since they opposite meanings (Life and Death) and purposes. I really appreciate your answers.
