Actually, pandas are not bears! They are more related to the racoon family. Calling a panda a panda bear is not correct.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I almost didn't include pandas for that very reason, but I'm sure you will be as overjoyed as I was to find out that they truly are bears and deserving of a place in this thread. Three cheers for science! It took a lot of years of study, but it seems the panda has barely made it as a bear.
