Why are we buying into this DSiWare crap. For mighty flip champs and mario vs dk 3? Which is already old news... For loosing our right to share our games with others? Looseing a gba slot? Gaining a SD slot to serve as a photo and mp3 player? or rather ACC..? Less battery life? This really sucks.. I bought mine with high expectations but am very dissappointed with it.. And, cant sell it. right? My 3000 point credit is just sitting there waiting for the most amazing game ever, which aint happening anytime soon. do i sell it for 130 $ and how do i get back my 3000 credit? its all jacked up..
I've already lost interest in DSiWare, it's just the biggest digital download disaster of any system.
I still get some games, yes, but I'll be buying less and less... lol Nintendo's screw up with the system as even made me tempted to get a PSP cause I KNOW there are some good games for the PSN, and hopefully more when the PSP Go rolls out.
DSIware doesn't interest me right now, I always look at the top 20 list and think how boring it looks, I'm sure it will look better next year but there was no game that made me want to buy the thing, also no cart based exclusives either.
MFC and MvsDK3? Like those are really the only good games on the service? They might be the most popular, sure, but they aren't the only two good games, and look at it's future ahead. Tons of great games should be coming out soon, as Nintendo announced. I honestly never cared for the DS Lites GBA port. I never really played GBA games, I MOSTLY played the original GB games, I liked those the best, but the DSLite or Phat didn't play them.
A) Cheezy's right, MvsDK and MFC are just scratching the surface of DSiWare. There's Asphalt, Flipnote, Pop+, Art Style precipice, Art Style PiCTOBiTS...and those are just the greats that I own. B) 1,000 of your points were free from Nintendo; are you seriously asking for a refund on those? And when you bought those 2,000 points it was clearly stated they had no redeemable cash value. C) We never had the right to share our games with others (in that sense, anyway). D) There is use, albeit small use, for SD Cards currently, as some of us actually use our DSis to take pictures and transfer them to our computer, listen to music, and save Flipnotes. E) You're acting like you had no idea you were losing SLOT 2 and some battery life when you bought your new machine. I'm sick and tired of all of these whiny arguments. P.S. Shantae: Risky's Revenge might just turn out to be 'the most amazing game ever.'
The GBA slot is nice on the DS Lite, but playing GBA games is much better on a GBA SP, much bigger screen than a DS Lite. I agree with the DSiWare complaints, it isn't all that I had hoped it would be, but maybe part of that is my fault.
The chickens are restless.

Oh, and since you don't already know, there aren't any cart exclusives now, but research on your part will show you that exclusives are coming out soon. Not flaming your opinion or anything, but there will be, and Nintendo said it DAY 1.

You are one of those people who have convined me to buy a DSi! Also I agree with everything that you have said, the SD card is handy and much like the Wii I know that it will someday get a storage solution.... Even if it takes 3 years.....again!

Let's hope it's not three years... And oh-so-glad to help.

Ooooo... a list of complaints. Maybe you should send Nintendo an letter with these complaints, similar to what the US did oh so long ago.
Jesus is the only way.
It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know. Letterboxd Youtube Channel

"Biggest digital download disaster"? I hardly think so. There are some special games I play daily on my dsi, and dsiware has a long ways to go. I think that they need to focus on QUALITY and VISIBILITY of their product lines. Nobody I know even knows Nintendo has a digital download service on the dsi. One of the reasons might be because I am too ashamed to involve them in it and have them be as disappointed as some of you guys are. I guess I'm easy to please lol but I still have alot of gripes about dsiware. I am just not throwing in the towel... yet.

Don't like DSiWare but like the GBA slot? Nobody twisted your arm to buy it. If I had a DSlite, I probably wouldn't have gotten a DSi. It's not like you can't still get a new DSlite, if you prefer its features. I waited to see some DSiWare released before I purchased it, and I'm happy with what I have. There aren't a lot of games on there yet, but there are some pretty good ones. I have to be honest that I'm holding out for a DSiVC, but if it doesn't happen ever, it's not like I was promised it. Next time do some research before you make a big purchase.
