So, when I decided to stop playing with my 3ds, I closed it and put it in my purse, since I was going out. And when I took it out, there was a black screen that said, "the game card has been removed" I check and the game card was in the slot. I don't get it. Do I have to make a repair?

More then likely the game card got bumped while it was in your purse.

Which model of 3DS do you have? I've got a New 3DS XL and sometimes I find this happens to me if the game card is pressed too hard accidentally. Definitely not something to worry about repairing, especially if it only happened once. Though I have found that certain games (they tend to be older, more 'worn') tend to do this more frequently for me. As much as I love the N3DS XL, the game slot really isn't in the best place.

That's what I was thinking. Since I had my phone in it too, my phone probably bumped the cartridge.

Now I just have to be extremely careful when I put the 3ds in my purse. Now that's I think of it, it's probably better if I just turn it off.

I've actually had that problem with a couple of my game cartridges I got used. I'm wondering if it's because the cartridge is damaged.

I examined my game card and it was perfectly fine. It was probably because the game cartridge got bumped
