Hello everybody. I was considering importing a new 3ds small model from amazon spain to my UK adress. The reason is because it works out at about £120 rather than £150. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about import tax to the UK and VAT rates.

Since it's an EU country I don't think you have to pay VAT on top.

In my experience you don't pay import charges for products ordered from amazon.de or amazon.es etc.

My friend has bought a Wii U and PSV from Amazon.es with no additional charges.

Remember mains sockets are different in the EU compared to the UK, so you'll need an adapter for the power.
