Saw the trailer, screens, etc. and was surprised that they used augmented reality. I mean they're using it for Tetris, Kid Icarus, and now this! What's next; AR Ice Climber?
"Good. Everyone's together. Pyrrhon loves a party." "...It's funny because marriage is terrible!" If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome! Songs are like hugs that mouths give to ears. Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all...
Eh, it doesn't look like it's for me. I'm not big on UGC (user-generated content), and that seems to take priority over gameplay from what I've seen/heard, so that, along with it being $7, adds up to me not getting it.
Interesting. May buy it just because of this. Will wait for reviews though.
Nintendo is not the developer, actually. They sometimes do not divulge who produces their games, so it requires a bit more effort (such as looking directly at the credits, etc).
The developer is actually a small developer called Asobism, which has focused mostly on social games for the most part (cell phone, GREE, flash, etc). It has an ex-Skip member in the development team behind the game. Looking at their other products, I have faith that their games will be at least unique! Hopefully this is not the end of their 3DS games.
The AR, QR sharing and streetpass has got me really interested. I can't wait for the review. If it gets at least an 8 I'll get it. Although Mario 3D Land comes out just 4 days later so I may wait.
Gameplay doesn't look like much. It seems like just a means to an end to get the player to create more (freaky) stuff. Not necessarily a bad thing. If at least two reviews are solid (even sevens will work for me), then I will definitely download. Big fan of DIY type stuff.
