You cant just make new servers, routers or w/e other network upgrades they need appear outta nowhere. So they prob had to go buy these before they could even start thinking about fixing the problem which hopefully they are doing right now.
It being down is actually helping me since I can't pick between getting Project X Zone and the GBC of Harvest Moon...OR..just Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Cities.

Well eve the network status page for the eshop seems broke ATM.

Same happened to me took about 30 minutes to show my true balance. Though i've seen others in thread saying it took them two hours.
