@CactusMan you mean that a single cryptocurrency uses almost half the energy of THE ENTIRE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM. There is absolutely no question here, cryptocurrency and NFTs are a pointless source of emissions. People are literally reactivating gas-fired power plants and leeching off national power grids just to mine crypto.
@dBackLash There is a big difference between falling behind on something that should be a standard (i.e. decent online multiplayer) and looking into a technology that is proven to be both a scam and environmentally damaging.
